  1. In a way I guess I started it-but it was in moderate defense of a friend. Granted nothing posted on these massage boards means shit, they still boil the blood a wee bit.

We all have somewhat of an alpha male complex about us I suppose but I'd still have a beer with the people that heckle me. In the end, we all share the same passion.

  2. I've ridden with the guy that rides that bike ;)

Wouldn't THAT be a bloody dream... to ride a Hayabusa all day and get PAID for it. Damn sexy. I wanted one before I got my Duc. Everyone made fun of me for liking them so much. Almost got one anyways except it was about 1200 over my maximum (and the insurance-forget it). So I got my little Duc instead.

I'll have my Busa someday. IDK what it is about them, but I really really like them. NOT the urban molested Busas you see in the movies. The true blue ones. Tastefully modified is OK. :)

    :p

They should just all get Police Busas. LOL. jk.

On a serious note, the Taurus would probably be the most attractive replacement -granted, a twin turbo would get expensive to maintain, and severely inhibit the life expectancy of the power-plant and drivetrain.

Police Impalas would be good choices as well. The whole front wheel drive not lasting as long kick is inaccurate.

I see more and more Chargers popping up as well. They seem to be the car of choice in my area (I recently got a ticket by the brand new car less than a month ago...).

Scroll down the page and check it out.

  4. LOL, I'm just being facetious. Who cares how many posts I have?

Nobody can take a little nudging?

This is what I grasped from this thread- a 250... gets picked on by a 600... which gets picked upon by a 1000. Also, it seemed that the OP got rashed for being an attention whore for posting this- because it wasn't sufficient enough for whatever reason. If displacement meant shit, then the NSU Bison 2000 would be king.

  5. ???? You should prolly troll around and get some intell before a statement like that newb.

They're a pretty nice size along with the rod thats attached to them, that bike has banged the rev limiter in 6th more than once puddin.

Anybody can do a 6th gear roll on. That doesn't mean shit. Can you corner?

  6. I'm originally from Brunswick Hills :) The corner of 303 and Substation... LOL I've had my fair share of fires HAHA.

Zixxer-I know where right where Old Mill Village is. I had a few friends in and around there.

Just because I'm from Brunswick, I'm not a hillbilly or redneck wannabe. I ride a Duc... If I wanted to be one of those, you'd see a Milwaukee vibrator in my garage... and less teeth in my mouth. LOL!

  7. Welcome! Word on the helmet advice! I am in the Brunstucky area frequently as my sis and her hubby reside down there. You'll have to help with the 'kinda' on the Duc, but looking forward to seeing and hearing it. Loves me some V-twins!

LOL... yes, the kinda refers to it being a 748 (i put a 996 in it but shhhh- don't tell anyone-like my insurance)

I predict an RC in my future... the second revision of course. :)

  8. Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum. I reside in Brunswick, Ohio. My bike is a Ducati 748...more or less. I love all bikes...not just Ducatis. My first bike was a 1969 Suzuki T500 Titan MkII... it was a two-stroke and it was saweeeet!

I look forward to being a contributing member to this online community.

    :D

    P.S.- Wear your helmet...:moo:
