  1. They're absolutely beautiful. One stopped in at Mid State and the place shut down (yeah, all three of us) went out to check it all out. Beautiful car.

     

    Is that the one with the (10 or 12 TDI) or are they not in the states yet, I was reading about them and they are going to be the balls!

  2. I have been working with Mike Ward at his east shop for over a year on my two stangs, a 89 5.0 that is a solid street car running low 12's (remember, daily driver) and a just finished auto to 5 speed conversion & tune in my 97 vert.

    Mike is honest and his prices are reasonable. He has a new dyno that the 97 has been on and the difference is unreal. Hard to believe what a basic street tune can do for a 4.6.

    I'm planning on a 347 bottom end for the 5.0 this fall and Mike and I have spent at least an hour talking about what to build. He's a good guy and money isn't always the bottom line there... he always has, or gets the answers for me.

    Just my 2 cents. I'm a happy customer.

    I have sent Mike a PM about some Ideas and what Ideas he has.... I am looking to go to him or Brian. But From what I have heard Mike seems like a cool dude and I was talking to Pete ricart about geting me parts the other day and he Recomended him. Once I meet him Im shure I will be fine with him doing my work. Its like choosing a doctor to deliver your child. LOL

  3. The day after I bought my mustang I went and shined it all up to go take pretty pictures.. But the batteries in my Digi cam where dead so I went into wall mart ( aparking lot where everyone thinks its fucking NASCAR) and I Park on the end. I go inside and about 10-15min later I return to my stang to see some one rubed the back end. didnt do mch damages just deep/thick scratches. I was pissed./end of story
  4. Used Kenne Bell 1.7 or s-trim for around 3k for the whole setup. I bought one for my 01 GT that came with the IC, injectors, BAP, ect...Made over 400whp on Brian's dyno and was plenty fast. Put a clutch in it, put it on a diet and you will beat MOST of the cars on this forum.

     

    What else Did you have done.... Heads, Block ne thing let me know I may be looking more into this. 3k sound like a good deal too. Where di you find this at??? And do you still have it by chance?

  5. Thanks alot guys for all the info.... last summer I meet Brian from dyno tune seemed like a good guy who knew his Mustangs, and he gave me a pretty good price so hopefully its still close. And LaSota sound very impressive as well and I will look into them beorf going any where. Bu now I have a question for Brian and LaSota, I want to run a nitrious set up this summer at least a 150 shot perf. a 200shot. I have about $6-$7k to spend, I would like to build my head and bottom end for the future and to handle the shot. And to still have a strong car when not running the Nitrious. I already have the nitrious ( and some rear end work on the way 3.73s and have new axles as well) but what parts would you recomend for me to install ( Just need ya for the tune). And where can I be WHP with your Ideas.

  6. I have been looking and cant find at what Hp do you need to upgrade you Fuel Injector size Like

     

    300-400hp -Needs __?__# injectors

    400-500hp -Needs __?__# injectors

    500-600hp -Needs __?__# injectors

    600hp + -Needs __?__# injectors

    and is the some sort of equation to determin this?

  7. woohoo i get my own thread about me wooo, ill be there and will race if my bottom end doesn't blow up...its currently leeking oil bad...found out its crank walking bearings wore out tsb out about it...if i can get the bearing changed and the block/crank isant fucked im good..but if i blow it ...then new block and built up motor...but ill be there ulll rock me down the 1320 im sure of cars slacking power from this issue

     

    Most fucked up Neon Bottom end in Columbus????.... Quit making excuses in Advance budy lol..... Get that shit fixed by June.

  8. it u go charger or turbo i wouldn't do 4:10. you want it a little lower so it can spoil good. i wouldn't go much more then 3:73 on a blower set up.

     

    but for 6k i'd do a forged short block and some cams. if your doing the work you can do a little more stuff depeands if you are a spray guy or a charger guy.

     

    Yea Thats what I was thinking I was thinking going with this company out of VA called Steen Racing and geting:

    A New Machine Block, Manley H-Beam Rods w/ARP 2000 Bolts, Diamond Racing Pistons, ARP Main Studs, Federal Mogul Main and Rod Bearings, Deburred Stock Crankshaft, Fully Balanced Rotating Assembly, Professional Assembly. for the Block

    For the heads New/Reconditioned Heads,Comp Valve Springs, ModMax Oversized Valves, Bronze Guides, Spring Height and Tension Set, Blueprint Assembly

     

    All should cost about $4,500 from Steen

    And I would also have to buy a Cam Thought about CompCams' XE262AH for $550

    Then doing some kind of fuel up grade dont know which one then Hiting it with about a 150-175 wet shot.

     

    So As long as I get the fuel system for about $1000and some shorties ($350) give or take a little I am Golden I see what do You all think....

     

    Oh yea and the defently get a kick ass tune!

     

    :EDIT: I already have installed intake, MAF, 70mm tb and header back exhaust.
