Is that MajorPayne's RX7? If So i drove it the other day at Brians. Its a good start car needs a lot of work... but decent potential. Its not bad for a carb-a-tated stock explorer motor.

Ok, where I am at right now... I am looking into how much money I can spend. So I am pricing things at... besides forums where is good places to find Motors? For SBF and SBC I am seeing a million on CraigsList.. but what about LS_ motors and trans? Would LS1tech be the best place?

Going to buy a bare block here soon. I do not have a car yet, but there are a few cars I would like to do with either motor. I know a little about the 302/351 but nothing about the SBC motors... I just know Sams 350 in his boat always blew up. :gabe: It will be for mostly 1/4 or 1/8 maybe some low rolls. So I know the Gearing and trans will also be a huge factor. So Learn me Pros and Cons of both and what is some of the better common builds.

It does have higher HP/Weight ratio.. but how does the Suspension in the GT500 Compair? I feel like the Camaro will beat the GT500 in the 1/4 and around the track. No idea why they dropped the Camaro... Chevy took Bailout money because they could lol Your right the interior on the Mustangs are much better than the Camaros I will agree with you all day long on that. I hate the new Camaro dash. I was just saying that Ford came out with the 5.0 and showed up the SS and now the ZL1 is pretty bad ass and I think it will be the better of the the two brands. But I have a feeling the Price Tag will be much more than a GT500. If its in the $55k+ range I would take a Vette over the ZL1... I dont need the back seat.

As much as I was a fan of the GT500... I think Chevy just bent Ford over on this one. On that note.. Ford has always had an OK car... but is behind Chevy. Example: Fords 4.6L was better than the LT1 in most cases but when Chevy brought the LS1 out Ford stayed with there 4.6 for 11+ more years. They just now got smart and came back with the 5.0 but it took the Camaro coming back to do so.
