great season finale. wasn't expecting that! very Godfather-esque. agree with Drew about Opie's and Chibs revenge nice to see that happen.
DIdn't leave a huge cliff hanger like usual though. I heard rumblings on the internet that even though FX signed up for season 4, but Sutter was not happy with all the Corporate Direction he was getting.

Not so sure I agree with you entirely, but it is indeed sad that people won't commit to such a loyal species. That's what our disposable society has led us to...disposable diapers, water bottles, marriages, laws, disposable pets, etc.
What's that one quote about how you can measure a society by how they treat canines... Sad world we live in.

... Unless they've just edited the commercials/previews to make us think that
Something they would never do..
Seems like a pretty short season...Good thing I just bought season 1 and 2 on DVD!

We've fostered a dozen or so Retired Racing greyhounds. We have a dobie and a Rottie. Plus two children under 4 yrs old so we are out. However, we know several groups and friends who have a good network. I'll have my wife spread the word.

Sunny and 43 on Sunday...

I guess when I win the big lottery, I'll have to build my own track...don't see any other option.

Anyone else notice that there are no full weekend dates at MO anymore?
Since I moved here, I thought I'd get to ride a lot more at MO, but most of the dates are weekdays...

I don't feel like working in a cold garage. The garage is insulated but not heated.
dude, you got the hard part done if it is already insulated. A fairly inexpensive stand alone heater would work. You'd be surprised how warm it will get.
Just can't picture what you are trying to do would be in any way easier than buying a heater and plugging it in. I'd be more worried about any collateral damage from tipping it over.
But sounds like you are committed. If so, make sure you take off your plastics so WHEN you do tip it over, you have minimal damage. Also make sure you have at least 4 buddies, thre to help, and one to video tape.
If you take it to the spare bedroom, you could always get several of those garage mats. It has a rubber bottom and fabric on top. That way any oil or fluid spill would be contained.
GL, man.

Unless it's an exotic car, my bike gets first dibs on any garage. Cars sit outside because...well they're cars. They have defrost and a cage all around all the important stuff.
BIG +1.
A couple of radiant heaters or propane heaters will warm the garage up before you work on it.
Too many (video-worthy) things could go wrong on getting the bike down and up from the basement.
What kind of ventilation system do you have in the basement? Not sure if you are doing work that will require you to fire her up, but the last thing you want to do is pump those fumes throughout the whole house via the ductwork...

My girlfriend hasn't quit smoking yet after promising to do so for a year. I think I'm going to take up the foulest smelling large cigars there are, and snuggle all close to her. Let me know the rancid ones when you figure those out.
See my last comment...swisher sweets.
-
I used to be into cigars a lot. Have gotten away from them since the kids.
But you've already hit some good ones. I can't recall all of them, but Padron was one of my favorites. I used to go to a cigar shop and just shoot the shit with the owners. If you find a good place who love the craft and aren't pretentious, you can get a lot of good info. I remember I used to lean toward Nicaraguan cigars after they told me that it's the closest things to cubans.
I never got a humidor, but had the snippers and box of matches. Never want to use a lighter. Stick matches are the best way to go. It gives you a slow even burn without the fuel ruining the leaves. Never flick the cigar like a cigarette. You want the long ash on there. Which is why cigar specific ashtrays are a must if you smoke inside. It really is an art form.
Now, I'm a fat old married man with kids, so a peach flavored swisher sweet is a treat for me...

.. Probably some asshat texting or talking on their cell and not paying attention. Hopefully karma shows up in their life in the near future.
I almost hope that is the reason. Because if the reason is really they didn't care and wanted to hit the dog...
The world needs a vigilante to take care of the vermin.

I was holding my daughter who was 6 months old at the time and stepped outside in the early morning to see what the dogs were going after. I slipped on a slick spot and started to fall forward with her in my arms. I didn't have anything to catch myself with. So I contorted in mid air and did everything I could to lessen the blow. Took a good knock on the head myself on the concrete patio and she bumped her head with mine ever so gently. I freaked out and cried and ran her to the emergency room "just in case".
Hearing something like this is UN-IMAGINABLE to me. What is seriously wrong withour society?!?
no worries guys though. pedophiles and baby killers are treated very "special" by fellow roommates at most jailhouses. He'll experience hell on earth.
Of course rick37 has a point about the insanity plea. if his lawyer is any good that is. But article said he wasn't represented...

diggity-diggity!
Call me old fahion, but I don't like the continuous story line. I think it keeps people watching, but if you miss a couple, then you seem pretty lost for awhile. I missed a few early this season and last night was the first one in a a couple of episodes I've seen.
with work, kids, etc, it's hard to catch up.
regardless, it's pretty entertaining.

Is he yours?
j/k,
Big congrats! lots of responsiblity. Being a role model is hard, even if you don't want the job, you've got for 24/7.

Oh, and fuck Johnny Law. Tonight I'm gonna rip a mattress tag off, and record a football game without the express written consent of the NFL.

Ha! He's all heart!
Lot of sexual tension still with Trinity. Can't blame him though. I'd "shag" that.
Now let's git the fook out of eyeland and get back to pleasantville.

Found this article:
At least it makes it sound like there will be a season 4 for sure.

I guess I missed that Lenny was an Orig Nine.
Interesting comments about Jax. Makes it sound like he'll stay. Maybe change from within.
Unser will be fine. As CattaniAFJ said, it was a BS Anonymous tip. And then Kozik gave him a shiner to show he was "overtaken". besides. he's a stage 3 cancer so he doesn't have much left. Plus Sanwa Sheriffs are taking over thanks to Hale so he is out of a job anyways, hence the boxes in his office.
