  1. So speaking of right of way here is an actual situation:

Four way stop sign intersection. As I'm approaching the stop, truck is also coming from the opposite way preparing to stop. No car to my right. Two cars coming to a stop from the left, one behind the other. They all get there before me.

Truck in front of me coming the opposite way gets there first, so he moves ahead. I'm at the stop sign waiting now. The guy to the my left pulls forward. The car behind him got there before me, but I'm in front of the line in my direction. Who goes next? Me or the second guy to the left?

I assume its me. Regardless of if he got to the intersection before me I came to the stop sign before him. I pull out and then he does as well and stops short. I yell out "STOP SIGN". He yells back "I was here first!"

Who had the right of way?

  2. And another fucking thing. None of you Columbus living sunsabitches can drive worth a cocking fuck. Every goddamn time I ride my bike through Columbus, some self-righteous and equally oblivious fuckwad almost kills the shit out of me.

I've had one of you ignorant fucks LOOK STRAIGHT INTO MY EYES AND TURN RIGHT INTO ME on the freeway.

    Looked. Right. At. Me.

And came over, anyway. Like I wasn't another human being whose life fucking mattered, in the slightest. Completely would not have fucking cared if I got hit at 60 mph.

Fuck Cockumbus and all who reside there.

I'm giving you a mental hug.
  3. I'm torn. I know I should wear proper pants. I always wear astar leather jacket, helmet, armored gloves and sidi boots. I just haven't done the pants. And you guys are right it is silly to leave that one area "exposed". I'm considering jeans that have Kevlar and armor. But I don't see how textile pants with armor is better. They both are loose so it will twist the armor or of place. I'll wear leathers on the track but they are just too uncomfortable for daily riding. I haven't found any that are comfortable for my build. I have very thick thighs and calves but a very short inseam. I dunno. I guess it's my acceptance of the risk vs enjoyment.

  4. So why do you need to hook to your phone? What am I missing here? All I'm interested in using it for is Netflix

Unlike the other TV top options or smart TV, you don't control Netflix from the Chromecast. The PC or phone ends up being the interface/controller. But once a show our movie is selected, Chromecast is "streamed" directly from your WiFi, not through the PC or phone. But pausing or selecting the next episode/movie is done back through the interface. It's unlike a smart TV from that aspect.

Really it's very simple and only $35. It's worth a try.

  5. Chromecast and my android phone is all I use. YouTube, Netflix, crackle, Hulu. Actually, if you use the chrome browser on your android, you can display any embedded video to Chromecast. There are a ton of apps note that you can steam to Chromecast. HBO, starz, ESPN,

Oh yeah it's a one time fee of $35.

  6. Ask to speak with future co-workers. Ask general questions like what is your typical day, when do you normally get to work and leave, what mgmt style is the boss. Glassdoor.com also has "reviews" of the company from current and pay employees. But keep in mind that it is mostly disgruntled so take it with a grain of salt.

And as others have said, what is 401k match, typical insurance, vacation days offered. Ask about the position to see why it's open. Was it a departure, promo, new position created? The answers say allot about growth.

  7. At the end of the book, there is a section where Taya and the screenwriter talk about the screen play. Taya's main goal was to make sure the movie portrayed the man accurately. The screenwriter acknowledges that he had to take liberties to create a story LINE for the sake of creating a movie. I think the movie did protray him well. He doesn't a lot of time with Chris and Taya. And honestly the book didn't read well from the standpoint that it jumped around a lot.

Take it for what it is. An entertaining movie about a great warrior, a loving father and husband, the conflict between those two lives. At the least it gives us a glimpse to a great patriot and maybe gets people to buy the book to learn more.

  8. Thanks for the comments. My parents are old, not internet savvy, and don't speak fluent English. So I don't want them to deal with all the hassle that you and I take as normal course of life in dealing with schmucks tire kickers. Second, I'm in the midst of selling their house from 2 hours away and selling ours as well. Plus I work 70 hours a week and have two kids with active lives. Also I need to get their house cleaned up from the over 40 years of hording. That's why I don't have time to deal with it. I have less time than money at this point. If someone here wants to take for $400 and flip it, coolio.

Bubba, got your PM. I'll contact them once I for pictures and details on Monday. The!
