Ive seen that vid before. Love seein the Audi pull away but im almost tempted to call bs on the reality of the vid. Some of the gaps they were going through were not big enough for a car and neither car is small.

Lol. to each his own. For 5K you can start with a car with 200 hp already. Add another 5K double that plus some. But its for his liking not mine.

Every sunday quaker steak at polaris has a car show. Nothing spectacular but it gets some of the local guys out. Anyone ever go up there? Lots of older muscle cars mixed with some new. Every sunday i drive by but the show is dying down and a lot of cars have left. I think it starts around 3 or 4?

With a little work the 97 could rev to 9k whenever you wanted. It would require some engine work but it already redlines around 7.

Car clubs such as audi, bmw and so on have track days annually. Something like 300 bucks run what you brung for the last time i went up for the audi club. Spots fill up fast tho. And it was a 2 day event. Beginners do one day of auto-xing and other drills (still fun) and the second i believe there were like 3 30 min lapping sessions and you were allowed to ride in other cars while they were running.
