  1. Great assessment Ryan, couldn't have said it better myself. After the first session I looked at my tires, and I thought they were melting really bad. Being as cold as it was it was hard to believe. It was only when shortly after I realized I just picked up a bunch of loose car rubber from the track. Not confidence inspiring by any means. After lunch I got used to the new track bike, 04 Aprilia RSV and things started to pick up. Limited Slip, as for a used track bike. I have an 03 cbr600rr for sale. Great shape, runs good, bill of sale only. Asking $2500
  2. I have a 2010 Z1000.... used to own an 05 Speed Triple, and a 2003 Z1000. What exactly do you want to know? In my opinion, the new Z.... is superior to the speed triple in every way.... no offense to speed triple owners, It was my dream bike for a long time, I just never really fell in love with it. PM if you really want to talk about the new Z, or ask away. I'll be happy to answer any questions i can...
  3. I spoke up about another thread on 170, I ride it about once a week in the summer, it's fun when there are no cars, which is rare, and it's not easy to pass on. There is one long straight for passing, but the two good hilly curvy sections usually get clogged up with traffic. 164 is better, more blind though. Worth checking out for sure, but nothing compares to the roads down south.
  4. The one that looked brand new? I did sell my Triple, looks like I need to update my profile. I ended up getting the 2010 Kaw Z1000 I wanted. Looking forward to meeting up.
  5. I've ridden 170 often, it's a great road when there isn't traffic, which for me is rare. A road splits off into PA 351/551 which is pretty good, and down near Wellsville I usually take some other fun routes 45/39. One of my favorites is 164 south out of Lisbon though. I live right outside of Youngstown, we'll have to plan some rides down when the weather gets a little better.
  6. Yeah, if anyone should know it'd be Muzzy... I have had pretty good luck with paypal and ebay resolving my claims. It might take a month but you'll get your money back. The last exhaust I got, was damaged on delivery. After i filed a claim, paypal did their thing, I shipped the exhaust back at my cost, and paypal refunded me the item cost. Was pretty easy, just took a couple weeks. I'd go that route, before attempting to try the 750 exhaust on the 1000.
  7. I was sorry to see the triple go for about 2 days when I replaced it the the new Z. It's by far a better bike, and the engine is amazing. I had done everything to my first gen Z, exhaust, wheel swap, fork swap, shock swap, and the new Z is still a much more competent machine.
  8. Congratz on the '10 Z1K.

    I want one as well.

  9. link, have you tried to fit the header? I thought i remember reading that the z750 was just a sleeved down version of the zx9 engine used in the z1000. I could be wrong, just curious. btw, gotta change my profile, speed triple is gone, 2010 z1000 is in.
  10. I wonder if it will be using a tuned down version of the 1000rr motor?
  11. I own a 2010 Z1000 , this honda looks really good though. I'd expect it to be around $10,500 , right in line with the new Z.
  12. another triple in the area, nice. I'm out of town right now, in north carolina, but hopefullly we can meet up next time. Awesome bike
  13. We never met, but, here's to hoping you at least get some hot ass nurses to give you a few sponge baths. Wish you a speedy recovery man...
  14. This is the only pic i snapped, I believe it was in Marietta just before hitting rt.26 I know someone has got to have some better pics than this...
  15. Just got in, right about 500 miles. It was good meeting you guys and was a great ride. Looking forward to next time. Route 260 was amazing, my highlight.
