Yea, you'll have a wtf moment then realize te kickstands still down. On mine the spring if you don't kick it up all the way it won't start as well that's a curve ball as your like uh my kickstand is up then look and it's only half way up.

I'll forget te kickstand is down about twice a week.

I've done that and also forgot to switch the kill switch back on a few times as well.

I'm only making an assumption of your post on how a 600 has little power and you feel need to get a litre ( to each their own). I'm just giving you some foresight on how 600's have improved over the years. I'm mean my first bike was a '94 Katana had only 85hp and when I upgraded to the Cbr600. I noticed a considerable differancen in acceleration and weight. Not sayin I'm the greatest ( which I'm not btw) only been riding for a year and the people of OR have helped with that as well. Just my two cents not trying to dog anyone on here.

No, need to follow the crowd by buying a litre. Ride for yourself and no one else. I thought about buying a litre for my first sport bike then got my 600rr and I love this bike. This bikes got plenty to offer and well its yellow so it gets noticed. Give your bike some time to grow on you and you'll be glad you kept it. I'm keeping mine till it can't run anymore and plan on buying a new one in a year or two a 1000rr for sure and still have my 600rr.
