  1. My garage door doesnt have windows...so it would be a tad harder to see the release. Still...that is mildly disturbing.
  2. I'm still trying to figure out how you all watch youtube while riding. :)
  3. ....and here is the virago... sorry for the shitty cellphone pics. Hopefully i will get the time to bob this thing out over the winter. I work a lot of hours. It was supposed to my project for *last* winter. Here's one of the girder i picked up....i dont think its going on this bike yes the garage is a mess.
  4. Here is the shadow. Another with my fatass on it Its an '86 700. Bone stock when i got it. Since i got it, i have: Replaced clutch plates Clubmans bars...stock bars were awful. These are better, but probably gonna change this winter. Progressive 412s...Dropped the shit out of the rear end. much happier with the stance and feel. Removed the stock exhaust, and mocked up something i like with parts from auto zone. As you can see, it's not done. This winter, i'll be welding everything in place and wrapping. Rejetted carbs Probably more, but that's most of it.
  5. sheep sex. you got it. i was googling for info on obtaining titles for "parts" bikes, or any bike with no title that isnt stolen....buddy of my just picked up a project XS and is trying to get a title...several bikes ive seen locally that would make great project bikes...but no titles. a search brought me to a thread on here.
  6. Couldn't agree more. Even if i don't ride a harley or a crotch rocket
  7. lol....i'm not opposed to owning/riding a sport bike, but it is not high on the priority list someday. For now i'm stuck with my 80's metrics...
  8. Hah....its not that i am a *metric guy*, so much as i'm too cheap to get a harley. I definitely think that a sporty bobber project is in my future, but the wallet won't allow for it right now. btw squidbillies is awesome.
  9. New to the site. I'm from Mount Vernon...stumbled across the site from a google search. looks cool. Only been riding for about 2 years. I ride an 86 Shadow 700, and have an 82 Virago <--puts up flame shield--> 750 as a bobber project. Started on a 76 zuki GT380 2 stroke. It came with the carbs in pieces in a box. Having never touched a bike, a carb, or really a motor of any kind, i had to figure the carbs out to start riding....took 3 months, but i ran that little smoker around......now i'm hooked. rant! just sayin' hey to everyone.
