  4. I don't get it. If you enioy it more power to you (your nuts but kutos anyway). If your trying to prove a point personally I'm not impressed, and think you asking to get yourself killed. And If your doing it because you have no other means, I sugest you reevaluate your spending, I've read about some unnecessary purchases that doing with out would be a game changer.

    2014 Gap trip

I have to have my first choices in at the end of the year
  9. I have one of these on my kids tv and it picks up all the Columbus channels and we live 60 miles from the signal towers, we are also on top of a hill. Might only be 50ish miles by the crow flies http://mobile.walmart.com/m/phoenix#ip/RCA-Outdoor-Digital-Video-Broadcast-Terrestrial-with-Amplified-Antenna/20976675
  10. Hell I pay $65a month for internet. But I have the fastest thing TW has because 6 of us share the wifi

    Dishwashers

I got mine 19 years ago, it's an old reliable model I picked up at a fast food joint. Can't comment about being under the counter, I usually let her wander around the house as she pleases and occasionally I tell her she looks pretty.
  12. Schumachers also compensate for temperature
  13. Find someone else that has dish, have them get a extra receiver on their account, take that receiver to your house and hook it up to the dish you already have, and split the bill.
  14. Too funny not to share https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkjVe1uv5Lw&feature=youtube_gdata_player
  15. Looking for somthing hard wired with out having something plugged in to the power port and having a wire drapped across the bars. And the power outlet it switch with the ingition I want power all the time without using the tender lead.
  16. Yup prob going to get one of these and have it powered all the time so even when the bike is shut off it is still charging, then run a USB cable to the aqua box and leave it there permanently. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=390680015116
  17. my heated grips control is in that spot
  18. Ok here is what i decided, ive already ordered the Aqua Box which will work with my phone. And im going to also use a couple older GPS units that i have laying around the house(for now). Now what i want to find is a USB port i can mount somewhere on my bike that puts out 3.1 amps (that will free up my power outlet and give it cleaner look)and a usb micro to mini 90 deg adapter(for my older gps units). Eventually i want to pick up a nicer Garmin unit but i want to get a feel for how not haveing the voice nav is going to work out for me.
  19. When my wife had her shadow one winter the Orange light on my tender was flashing at that time I didn't know what it was so I ignored it. About a week into the season the battery took a crap s o the tender was trying to tell me that. It was a 9 year old battery according to the date code, so long over due.
  20. That better than nothing but sounds like a lot of unnecessary work.
  21. A maintainer/tender is nothing more than a warmer. The cold of winter can drain and damage the cells of a battery a maintainer simply keeps a low current running through it and keeping it warm. I don't use mine in the summer only when temps drop. My TL had a 5 year old Wal-Mart battery in it when my buddy traded it in this summer and still cranking strong, must people say you don't get more than 2 years out of them. I think my riding mower battery is like 7 years old,(some people have to replace them every spring) and all I ever do it plug them in when the temps drop.
  22. Now if I turn the display off and just use the voice navigation it will actually charge. I think what it is with automatic brightness setting when its in the Sun all day long is trying to keep itself as bright as possible and there's no way for to keep up. I have noticed a few times while riding at night with the GPS on it will just barely maintain, but I'm assuming that's with the screen at its dimmest setting which does no good during the day because you can't see it anyway
