  1. umm NO, no tread warranty and they are not a all season
  2. Bubby MP reminded me tonight that need to get on the ball and get some tars on the wifes Impala before the snow flies. I'd like good tread wear, all season and decent grip in the wet and snow maybe a touring tire, and keep it at or below $115 ish plus mounting per tire(I mean tar). I was looking at the Pirelli P4 Four Season, or maybe the Goodyear Assurance touring. I need a 225/60-16 http://www.pirelli.com/tire/us/en/car/sheet/p4_four_seasons.html http://www.goodyear.com/en-US/tires/assurance-comfortred-touring?ub=Y&updatecase=passivelyStored&action=save&webprodid=27&productcode=41339332900000 Anyone else have any input, stories or suggestions?
  3. The weather isn't holding me back it's the deer. I commute at 11pm and 7am and I live in the country, I basically dodge a couple every night and morning. And the weekends are booked with kids sporting events. So I put some stabil in the tank and threw the tender in the bikes last weekend.
  4. When I installed my current one 6 years and 20 days ago (6 year warranty by the way) I put a drain pan underneath it. Because my water heater is on the first floor the last time it leaked it went everywhere. But I neverpiped it away so it was kind of worthless. Due to all this talk I have now to the initiative to run the pipe so in case it leaks I'm good now I guess I just got lucky last 6 years.
  5. One thing I do know if you flush the sediments from the bottom a couple times a year they will last longer. Don't think thIs was Eric's problem through
  6. I hate you, you made me go look and the warranty on mine expired a month ago, Now I'm going to worry about it.
  7. I wife loves her Vstar its ok for me to ride but the problem is I try to ride it like a sport bike and end up bouncing off the limiter and engine braking the hell out of it. It's best if I just stay off of it before I blow it up.
  8. looking into this deal but iv never heard of this web site and I cant find any info on it. http://www.electronius.info/New-Google-Nexus-7-Tablet-16GB-with-Wi-Fi-Black-Now-thinner-lighter-faster-and-features-the-world-s-sharpest-7-tablet-screen-9737986
  9. I always wonder if there types of threads ever open any eyes? I mean we have sponsers on here that this applies to and I'm sure word of mouth gets around and other places of these types will read these post. Do they really care that they are loosing our business and taking our money elsewhere, or are they just thinking FU I don't need you? We here on OR have to represent the A typical customer for these types of places and honestly I feel their business practices are doing nothing but pushing us away. Im not naming names but there are places in the heart of C-bus that many of us have complained about the customer service or their over inflamed prices but nothing seems to ever get addressed. I don't like sending my money out of town or out of state but when it comes to saving my bottom dollar you be your ass I will. Im in no way a heavy hitter when it comes to purchasing things but in just the last 18 months I bet ive dropped $2500 in (bike)gear, tires, parts, and accessories and 98% of that was out of state or internet business because our local brick and mortar stores prices are non competitive. And I would gladly pay a little more for the local convenience but im not going to take it up the tail pipe either.
  10. Christ you could put my house inside that thing and still have room to mow around it!
  11. Now for my cages I just go by the % oil life meter in the dash. Usually change it when it dips below 10% , I think my Tahoe has around six or seven thousand since the last change and it still says 30 percent
  12. I have child athletics events to attend, grape and the old man are in their own to install that ac. I really wish I could come to the piggy consumption, but it's a late event on the north side of C-bus.
  13. 5000 ish here with synthetic and 3000 with dino oil
  14. Yup we flew to atlanta one time and I had to stop for gas on the way to the air port. My old POS grand am I had to use a screw driver to pop open the gas cap when I put the 8in long screw driver in my hoodie pocket. I didn't realize it was still there till we got to her friends house in atlanta. And they even made me take the hoodie off and put it through the machine.
  15. I don't think it would take much to get things past security at any airport. Do you realize how much product goes into an airport such as food magazines souvenirs etc etc? Its would be impossible to search everything.
  16. Smartest man in the bunch. I have no want or need to be even thinking of a different bike the connie is everything I've ever wanted in a scooter. If I pick up anything it will be a piece of shit to tinker with. Definitely buying another quad next year though.
