    Beer Pics

Quoted so it would notify you when you log it, but I'm in San Fran until Sunday if you want any Pliny or anything else only found out here. I've found a couple good beer shops, and Pliny specifically is not that difficult to find. Let me know if you need anything man.
  2. Mostly stuff in the city, I don't know if I'll be able to make it much outside. Spicy hot is definitely my thing, so any suggestions are welcome!

  5. Did you rent it? I'm heading to SF in a couple weeks and this might be cool to do! Any recommendations for places to see/eat? Great vid!
  6. If you don't understand angular momentum and the physics of a gyroscope, you'll never truly understand counter-steering. A motorcycle does not steer like a skier.
  7. Definitely interested, get those pics for sure.
  8. I was in San Antonio for a conference last year and second that you should spend at least one night walking around the riverwalk, but the food on the walk is not the best. The Esquire however is an awesome bar with some great mezcal cocktails or tasting opportunities. We also went to Guadalajara grill on S Alamo St. and they had some fantastic Mexican food.
  9. Dream: MV tursimo veloce 800 More likely reality: 1st gen DL650
  10. A friend of mine is looking to get some 304 stainless fittings welded into stainless kegs, he has 3 kegs and a total of 3 or 4 1/2" NPT fittings. If we drill the holes and prep and just bring you the kegs/fittings, do you have an estimate on price? You can PM me if you prefer. Thanks!

Not my picture, but my first try of something from Goose Island last night and I'd highly recommend it:

Excellent, I had never heard of them. I didn't get any pics, but if you like belgians and sours I would highly recommend anything from the lost abbey in CA. Stopped in on my trip and everything was excellent.

  15. For all those who think "the tire manufacturer knows what is best for their tire, moreso than the car manufacturer!" To be fair I only looked up 3 manufacturers, but you'd probably find the same story elsewhere.
  16. Just added this year apparently :http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/08/28/dictionary-adds-badassery-selfie-and-twerk/
  17. Removable passenger seat is pretty slick:
  18. Oooh I like it. Hopefully someone makes a scrambler style exhaust for it, for maximum badassery.
  19. I can't do friday, but maybe next week?
  20. I'll be there Friday through Sunday morning, should be a good time!
  21. Nice, the Airbornes look like badass bikes, and you're getting a nice FS for the cost of a nice HT. Sucks it rained all weekend, let me know if you ever want to hit up alum evenings or on weekends.
  22. A cross bike will have a slightly more relaxed geometry than most pure road bikes, but still has the drop handlebars to get you in a more aero position. They also have wider tires, greater frame clearance for mud and usually different cable routing, all so the bike performs better in the muddy conditions of CX racing. Hybrid bikes are generally more relaxed still, with flat handlebars that place you in a very upright seated position. If you plan to ride mostly paved roads with a little bit of light dirt or fine gravel thrown in, a cross bike sounds like a good fit for you. Look for a used bike that's a few years old from the big manufacturers (Trek, specialized, giant, etc.) and you should be able to find something for around $500 that will hold up better than if you get a new bike for the same price.
