  1. First one isn't priced to bad? almost cheap
  2. This thing is awesome! First I saw of this thread? I do know see it is from 2010
  3. OK someone paid me to build one for them before and they wanted me to make it as cheap as possible. We can talk here in a bit and I can see what I can come up with. Truthfully if you could come up with a bolt carrier and handle I could probably pull this off. I am not counting shipping Spikes lower - 99 DSA M4 style upper - 275 parts LPK - 59 Stock and buffer - 39 (standard A2) Collapsible - 59-79 All and all you would be close. Will it end up being a 1000 rifle? No. Will it be a safe functional AR, Yes. Will it cause you any issues, no. Not in the grand scheme of things. God I hate to say this. You can order a Varient of a M4 from Delton in a complete kit for 465-485, add a lower and you are Golden. you can find cheaper lowers on the market but personally I would go with the Spikes. Ultimately you would be more toward the 650 mark with shipping and everything else. A lot of shops will charge you to do your transfer for the lower, Let me know if you decide to get one and I can direct you to my shop to get one, where they do no such thing. save you at least 20.00
  4. Ultimately I think you meant 146 not 147, but either way. Yes, I live south of Zanesville. I have rode a lot of roads around here and that was one of them. When I can sneak away and do things.
  5. Nice intro, Say it with confidence the next time though...
  6. Yes? Need something to keep me sane when I get home from work! Or something to blow off steam with... something like that. I will help you out, You can have it for what I got in it...
  7. Does that seriously have a fold down front grip
  8. Spikes evidently did not mind me calling in and asking for updates. Got my Spikes tactical lower and the new "STARK" Grip(s) showed up last night as well. The front take down pin and spring are not in, because now I have to order a new detent. You know those little springs hold a heck of amount of tension. Cant find that detent to save my arse! It shot across the room. Looked for it for a while. unfortunately, when I heard it hit the springer ran straight to the heating duct and was looking down inside of it so I am guessing its gone. I need to order a few little parts anyway, i.e. barrel pin for the bolt catch and make a decision on the catch as well. I have been looking at ambi catches but cant find one in person to actually look at. Probably go with stock. This is the start to my 3rd gun for 3 gun comp this year. I was looking at a Vortex PST 1x4-24 for on it but think the StrikeFire will be a faster "on-target" site? Upper is still undecided?

hey you gotta admit, she does have killer eyes
  10. I think I have hit that block wall! I lost 8-10lbs really quick and now I am stuck. I pushed it a little hard last night on the heavy bag. Couldn't hardly get out of bed this morning.
  11. You know it's great though when you are having a shitty day at work, you can pull this up and laugh your ass off at your desk and everyone looks at you like your nuts. Because chances are if you can relate to any of the shit in any of the 3 vids you are.
  12. I was looking at theirs? I am just not impressed with the cookie cutter AR upper? I did go with their lower. Pick it up tonight at the shop. I was waiting on it last night for 2 hours and the guy never showed up. As soon as I got home they called and said he walked in 5 minutes after I left... go figure? A guy I talked to from GG&G wants me to shoot limited with their steels. I got to admit I am OK with steel but a lot faster with a Vortex Strike Fire. I just need to get something on top of it so I can get to rockin it.
  13. Recently parted ways with my M&P and payed off a Bill I had. Now I am wanting another, "Fun rifle". I have been looking at a few of the Delton Uppers (even though I said I would never deal with them again). A DSA arms upper and a RRA. Just curious what else is out there, that would be interesting to me? here is the DSA Which I am not overly crazy about. The mid length peanut shaker would have to go, so would that faggy front gas block. Replace them with one of the new YHM quad rails (free floating) and a GG&G front flip up sight and block or even the new RRA quad rail block (but I dont care for this one)... I have had a few items from DSA. My 24" EOP has a DSA lower and kit and I have no complaints. Quality stuff. I just hate I cant get exactly what I want when I order it. I hate to get something and have to tear into it to make it "right". The M&P tactical I had was nice... Almost what I wanted but the barrel was a light weight step down barrel. I want something at least full size or Larger. Mid-Bull would even be nice. I should state when the USPSA matches start this thing will be abused severly this year. I plan on going to the championship, so it will be used damn near everyday in practice.
  14. sounds like a plan... True genius! On the quest to creat one thing and make something else.
  15. yeah that shit dont work anymore.
  16. OOOhhhh. I read that first sentence and was like what books do you have? Fiance is P.O.'ed right now with Amazon. For some reason her Biology book she order was cancelled, now she has a 66.00 charge on her card pending with no book. Yeah she is way pissed.
