I hit one on our "back in the sticks" road today, I thought took the wheel off of the truck... Holly hell... The rain is not helping things. I did not see it since the rain was level with the road in the pothole. Horrible.

Nice, I remember when I lived in Johnstown my brother was going out to get something out of the back of his truck. His dog went out with him. Was standing right beside him on the blacktop drive. The dog was growling at something. He dropped the tailgate and BAMO, it got his legs the back of his truck and the dog. Not to mention the driveway. Holy hell! I did not go over there for 3 weeks.

Not just for the fuel but the money you had to spend on the additives to bring the fuel back to running condition.

If it is a side cover it wont be that bad. If it is a engine case... Do yourself a favor (unless you have mad motor skills you are not telling us about) and let it go. Sometimes when you find these spectacular deals, they really are too good to be true. I don't know about everyone else on here, but personally I would not be selling a 05 cbr for 2K if that was the only issue. For 176 bones I could fix it, relatively under 200 dollars would be my guess. After gaskets and whatever else might be needed. Then I would put it back on CL, rated up there with all the others. 3500-6000. So 2K does not make since for just a side case.

The twins have always been known to last. My buddy from Treadway honda had a Suzuki 400sm he had 50K on before he had any issues with it. 50K on a single cylinder. I was floored. Like previously posted, I wish I had the time to rack up 50K on anything. I am not worried about it. The care that has been taken of this bike, I have no worries.

Was not too much deciding. I looked it over saw no problems. He fired it up, I was sold. (I have wanted a V-twin sport bike since I first saw the RC's. I rode a few and the more I thought about it I just could not pull the trigger on one. I wanted something I could actually get on and ride and be comfy. The fit and feel of this won me over the 929. The sound sold me... Boing! It was like a symphany of everything you ever wanted to hear.

The superhawk... Is 278 a year full coverage and 135 for liability. The XR650L is a joke! Total for both of them does not change! 278 for the year? Total coverage? for having a additional bike.

I am gitty with joy... Tires are good for another year for sure. Paint is pretty much perfect for a 99. Sounds AWESOME with the dual Yoshi's (I believe are totally uncapped)... Sounds like a formula one race car. LOUD. dislikes: no fuel gauge... just a light... Dont pay too close attention to my garage... It is a disaster area since I have started working on my Lariat in the barn (total neglect)... I tell you how happy I am.... ... Spring is way too far away... *I should say that the white on the rear cowl is frost... Man it got cold out last night on the way home?!
