.380 is the most common back up round and the most common CCW round. It's not a bad round. Look at it this way. My first thought is like Tony Starks saying. Think of it as the weapon you only have to fire once. So, in my eyes .44mag is my choice for concealed carry. But in reality you cannot carry something like that, do to the destructive nature of it.
