I had the Ducati tank issue with my 2007 SportClassic.  I had my entire tank replaced 5 times in 6 years due to ethanol wrecking the shit plastic tank.  Gave in and paid over $3k for a hand made aluminum tank to solve the problem being Ducati was never willing to change the formula of the plastic they used.

I sometimes feel like I have descended into the stereotype of most Ducati riders and I rode my bike the 10 miles over to bike night.  Sat around with an adult beverage and looked at it rather than riding. 

It will be interesting to see what the final report is on the crash.  So far looks like the back seater (passenger?)  punched them out while the Pilot thought he still had control.

Did new steering stem bearings and fork seals on my sportclassic yesterday.  Been probably 18-20K miles or so since the last time.  Not too bad I guess. 

Have been scanning some old medium format negatives(2.25x3.25inch) that my Grandfather took pre-WWII when he was in the National Guard.  Some interesting stuff.  Best I can figure they are all roughly late 1930's, the car is a 1935 Chevy and the license plate is a 1939.

Sold my suburban a few days ago, had a run in with a deer on Christmas Eve and decided it wasn't worth my time to fix it with all the other issues it had going on. Went out and got myself a replacement pimpin ride.  2020 Yukon XL Denali.  Rolling in style this year 😜

These days it's business jets.  Cessna Latitude and Cessna Longitude series.

I'm an aircraft mechanic for a living.  Here is my toolbox, you can assume (and would be correct) that there have been many purchases over the years on tools that have only one purpose and used very few times. 

Not a fan coconut cream but will admit I've ridden 150miles each way for a hotdog. 😁
