I didnt go on a 20 mile ride knowing it was leaking gas. I went up and down the driveway a few times to check.

I'll replace them and see what happens. If not I might just buy a whole new petcock unit.

So im guessing the very very fine cracks are leaking? I mean their real small...

I'll give it a try tomorrow...also two more things. When im in gear white smoke will come from under the headers, I looked earlier and couldn't find any leaks. Could something else cause this or is it def a leak and I need to look harder? And The previous owner said the petcock leaks a little bit of gas. Before I rode it today I put tape over the petcock. After riding I saw there was gas on a few wires and the frame but the tape was perfectly dry...any ideas where I should look? Maybe replace the fuel lines because I saw very fine cracks in them. -Thanks a ton

Nope but they do look very clean tho. I was running the bike without the air breathers in my driveway...that wouldn't have anything to do with it right?

Just bought an 86' Fzr 600 the other day. Got a new battery and starter and it starts right up. It idles good but once I leave 1st gear the idle jumps to 3k rpm and even when I shift back into netural it'll stay there. Any idea? The guy I bought it from said it might need tuned....as in the carbs and whatnot?

How bigs the box? I mean will it fit in a truck? If so where in westerville are you at because i'd like to buy it....

Turbos can spool up at any speed. You don't need to be flooring it or doing high speeds to spool it up and hear the bov. I shifted into 3rd gear from 2nd which caused it to spool up...and thats what you heard. Coffman road is no where near Harriot road. Those cars crush up like pepsi cans when their in serious accidents. Check out youtube. Especially when you hit a pole directly on the side.

The passenger was drinking thats why I drove him home in the first place. The passenger even told the cops he was drinking because they could smell it on his breath. The cops didnt charge him with anything because they felt so bad for him. I'm the owner and driver, I don't condiser 35-40 mph fast at all. I remember a group of men coming down the hill with flashlights...I do appreciate that but not being called a jackass. FYI it was at 11 pm right after the Coffman Fireworks. The car did not go airbourne and 60-75 is just over streching it by far. The tire marks show the car slid on the pavement then gravel....thats what happens when you slam the brakes and your on a turn. You must have been too drunk to clearly remember....

Haha finally the pics are up! Yupp passenger just had a small fracture in his leg and I the driver walked away. I took a HUGE loss though and i'm just glad I didn't have to scrap the car and instead someone can actually put the parts to some good. 3 out of 5 of my friends thought it could be taken to Combs Collision and fixed for under a few grand...haha what idiots. Oh and Paul, Brent said he stayed neck to neck with ya haha but im sure he's bsing.

I hit 3 deer a few nights ago. The car is totaled but the engine is perfectly fine. Maybe the tranny too I have no idea. I pulled most parts already. Name a stock part you need and i'll check. If you want you can buy the engine and the rest of the body for $500. Car had 48k on it, most aftermarket parts had only 5k. The turbo is still on the engine as well as the AGP Wastegate. The brakes, rotors, and rims are fine. I just had them all replaced last month too. I'm taking a huge loss because my insurance only covers liability. Lesson learned, get full coverage.
