Absolutely nothing and it kind of pisses me off. Busy with car stuff and the fairlane is about ready to drop the throw out bearing and needs the rear springs done ASAP which is happening next week.

And I remember why I don’t ride on holiday weekend. I was coming back from a car show Saturday night around 10 and a black car passes me at 45-50mph on a flat. Guy drives about 2 miles and hits a res light. Amazingly stops at the red light and then doesn’t go. I go to check on him and he’s passed out. I figure either drunk or overdosed. Cops show up and when they finally get him out of the car the whole street fills with the smell of booze and he can’t even stand up.

Drunks and Cops mean I’ll be caging it all weekend. Proabably wont even take the fairlane out in fear of a ticket for cruising with the historical tag

There is some truth to this. Technically before a motorcycle is ever test rode a pre delivery inspection must be done, which includes checking several torques on axles, steering components, etc. Usually takes like 15 minutes for our shop guys.
Lol Rick Roush sold me a bike with a leaking gas tank.

Dunno. We went 78 w to 377-550-Marietta -26-260-78-McConnelsville, I think.
Did my group pass a snake coiled up in the road or did I hallucinate?
Ya I saw 1 that was dead and it was huge. Wasn’t sure if I passed a second one or a tire tread but damn.

Lots of ibuprofen the night before and morning of long rides. I actually felt good all day long on the Vulcan minus an odd pain in my neck I’ve never experienced before on a bike.
When I had Gumps 599 I’d use the crash protectors as highway begs. On the Suzuki I didn’t have that option and the Suzuki was the most painful bike ever.

Home safely thanks to the red Volvo I followed averaging 90-110mph

So here is the deal, we have two of the grandkids over Saturday night. Deb is going with me Sunday and we need to drop off the grandkids in Granger. So, we are leaving my house at 7:30 AM, me on the bike and Deb and the kids in her car. Head to Granger and drop the kids then across 18 to Fairlawn.
So meet spots are my house kickstands up at 7:30 AM (which means you will go to Granger first too). PM me for the address, it's just a mile south of Dunkin. I will get the donuts ahead of time.
Second meet spot is at I 77 (NOT 71) and 18. North east corner there is a Shell. Kickstands up there at 8:30. It's 158 miles to the Epic Ride, so one stop on the way for gas.
I’ll be at the shell

Will be there now. Saturday I was going to bail because no children or wife and I was going to scrub carpets.

Sunday I can do.

I am wondering why you would want to buy a Ninja 250? It is the perfect starter bike, I bought a 2008 that was six months old for my son to ride as a beginer bike and he decided not to ride. I almost gave it away to my nephew to learn when he was 16. I got the Ninja 250 to 100 MPH one time on I271 and it took 20 minutes. It's a great first bike because you can never go too fast to get in trouble. I nicked named it the "shifter", because you were constantly shifting. As a previous poster stated, there are many other bikes, maybe a little older that would be better choices, unless it for a first bike. Ok, ok, all three of my bikes are 1000 cc bikes and I am used to that kind of power. JMHO!
Lol first bike. I’m looking for a second bike. Something just to throw my leg over And put around

GM is awesome! Did you know that they gave you a quick and easy way of getting your radio lights to come on? All I have to do is hit my dash a few times and the rest of my buttons will light up! Way ahead of their time, I mean Kohler just started marketing those faucet within the last few years with the touch on/off features. GM is way ahead of the curve.
Lol my trailblazer was the same way
