  1. I have a tour master rain suit. Fits into a little ouch about 8”x4”x2”. Saves my ass coming home from Indy GP twice. It was fairly inexpensive too.

    Normal jacket and over pants

I also like like compression socks especially since your confined with your movement for 2 hours at a time and can prevent a dangerous blood clot from forming.

I would also keep 2 pairs of gloves 1 waterproof another highly breathable.

As far as street clothes I had 2 pairs of “riding” jeans for around town and my jacket I had a zip up hoodie that if it was cool could easily be worn under the riding jacket and I’d just slip the loop on it with the helmet and lock it to the bike.

I did wear my track boots for regular riding and had a riding shoe for around town as well that wasn’t too bad for walking around.

First couple nice days of the year that entire area is always crawling with cops and rangers. Meadows is constantly gravelly and sandy with too many assholes that can’t stay in there lane too so sounds like folks are in mid summer form already ?

Ya. It’s pretty much a personal rally course for the rich assholes that go to BBHS and just got their first WRX

Maybe because EST is eastern standard time. Not including DST????

Who was right about the pay?

    https://www.google.com/search?q=safelite+installer+salary&oq=safelite+installer&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l2.16481j0j4&client=ms-android-att-aio-us&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

Yep thats over 20 lol.  You guys got screwwwwwd.  That glass is about $100 from the manufacture.  And they paid the installer about $20 to install it.

Do you have any idea how businesses work?

while the installer may have been paid $20 to install it. You still have all the business overhead.

  5. Rode about 30 miles through CVNP. Saw some crazy shit making my way back through Fairlawn and Copley border where there were like 10 cop cars and then at least another 6 unmarked explorers with guys driving them with dressshirts under armor vests then saw a summit county swat truck. Wasn’t curious enough to turn around and follow where they were going.

that's code for we are raping you and making excuses.  because that is 100% bullshit. you really think these guys have laser alignment systems in their vans? lol.  not a fucking chance.  they make min wage doing windows.

You really are an idiot. When I worked for BMW safelite would replace the glass then it was up to us to recalibrate any windshield sensors and heads up display. Just hooking up to diagnostic software was 1 hour labor. $120 per hour 7 years ago. Plus whatever book time stated for hooking up the alignment mechanism for the HUD which was usually another hour and then wiper calibration was usually included with the 1 hour diagnostic time. So basically you had 2 hours in tech labor to revalibry anything. Plus the cost of the glass and safelites labor. Not to mention the “special” adhesives and if any trim broke being the mid west with extensive heating and cooling cycles. It was almost always quotes whenever the vehicle was outside of 5 years / 60,000 mike warranty.

Trust me, you DO NOT know more about windows tha i do. Wink...

Most glass shops pay between 12 and 18/hr.  Which is min wage in most places.  I make over 20 but i have a good boss that pays good installers a better wage.  Those guys you see working for places like safe lite make 12 on average

Unicorn bike? It's  not as if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist. I'm looking for the right sport tourer for me. I don't have any interest in adv bikes, so not looking for one. Excuse me for trying to keep the thread I started on topic.

    GSX-S1000F?

It  may be advisable to get uninsured/under insured motorist added to your policies.  Both of my parents have been hit while riding, and both of the drivers had state minimum liability insurance coverage.  Both of my parents needed their insurance policies to cover their medical bills and motorcycle losses (above the state minimum limits).

It’s on there progressive lists it as a shared coverage and is further up the page.
