  1. Track Day Season is coming soon, Still have the suite, back protector and gloves. Open to offers.
  2. All, Selling my track gear as I no longer have a use for it. - Fieldsheer 1pc Leather Suit size 44 $250, Overall good condition and no issues. This is actually a high quality suit as it has protection pads at the knee/shin, elbows/forearms, and shoulders. I have compared to other suits and I think this is as good or better! The pads have a plastic inner with impact foam around them for added comfort. It does have a back protector but I removed it to use the ICON spin protector pictured. The original can be put back in very easily. Color is loud but is very good for a low cost suit. I am 5'8 185lbs and it fits very well and could mostly likely fit someone a little smaller/bigger. The best part is it does not smell! Well it smells like leather and motorcycles, No BO here!!! - Icon Stryker Vest Spine protector $75, This was only worn under my suit on track day and has seen low use, very good condition! - Alpinestar S-MX5 boots size 43 $75, great entry level boot and lightweight. Good for track use and general riding as they can be slim enough to go under boot cut jeans. - Alpinestar SP-8 gloves size L $35, Good entry level glove and are broken in! Sill have a lot of life left in them. If you buy the whole kit, its yours for $375.... the individual prices are listed above. Will ship in the US only at buyers expense. I do except PayPal and cash only! Thanks!
  3. Like the title says I am selling my 2009 Honda CBR 600RR. I bought the bike new so I am the only owner as of now (Duh). The bike has been garage kept and has maybe only seen a sprinkle from getting caught in a pop up shower. Overall pretty clean bike. The mods are: - Toce Exhaust - 2008 ECU (Better ignition maps, have the dyno sheet to prove it) - 6000k HIDs - BMC air filter - HRC 1/6 turn throttle - Fren Tubo lines - Double H pads - Engine Ice coolant - Gutted intake - 90 deg air valves - Motul RBF600 brake fluid - Integrated tail light - Custom LED hugger plate light - Custom LED rear turn signals - Custom LED running lights - Levers As stated above, bike is in perfect running order and is ready for the season. I just changed the oil/ filter and did all the basic service for the riding season. Tires have another season + in them so this bike is ready to ride! I am including all the motorcycle parts in the photo below, tender, new Q2/Q3 tires ect.... Also, I will even throw in a Shift textile riding jacket. Price is $6200 Thanks for looking!!!
  4. Like the title says, im selling my 98 RM 125. It is very clean for a 98 and has the normal bumps and bruises for a dirt bike. I just put a Brand New Wiseco piston and ring and it only has been ridden for 20min to break it in. At the same time I put a new clutch and springs in. I have the receipt to prove it (this was about $180)! The bike runs very well, starts up within a kick or two cold and one kick warm! The tires are Dunlops and are still decent. The bars are Answer Pro Taper... if your not familiar with this, they do not bend! Red valves are carbon fiber. The exhaust pipe and silencer are Bills Pipes. There is also a skid plate. I am including 2 stands (push up and axle), 5 gal gas tank, extra levers, oil, some plastics, used v-force reed cage (needs new reeds), service manual, spark plug wrench, extra plugs, and oem silencer. This bike is ready to ride, needs nothing other then a rider. I am putting it on OR first then I will put it up on CL if no hits.... Asking $1,400 O.B.O, Has a clean title! not looking for trades unless you have a Medium Transition Bottle Rocket with a Fox Float (mountain bike) Photos:
  5. Cool, I will have to watch when I get home!
  6. Hey Mike, Race Tech gives the suspension specs on their site... even the oil level (they say 120mm) which you can use as a starting point. http://racetech.com/ProductSearch/2/Suzuki/GSX-R750/2006-07
  7. I think this is a good idea! I would love to see how the way I set mine up would mesh with a more expericened opinion. Too bad I will not be able to make it for the last couple track days.
  8. I am selling my Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR1 for $1450 OBO. Here is the add: http://columbus.craigslist.org/pho/3248607333.html
  9. Does moto2 run a 16.5in rim like gp?
  10. Congratulations man! ....Nice avatar photo too!
  11. Hey Brian, My uncle uses a big syringe to push the fluid up to the master. I think my hydro brakes on my bicycle have to go bottom up as well.
  12. Get Insanity! Or just do some cycling or sprints.
  13. Pony has or had A-Star boots on sale for $130 which I think is a fair price. In my opinion if you can swing the extra cash get entry level racing boots because you can fit under your jeans for the road and they do not look bad.... not to mention offer great protection. http://www.ironpony.com/ironponydirect/product.asp/ImageName/AYC11-SMX5-BOOT-BLUE.jpg/Brand/ALPINESTARS%20AYC/Class2/Footwear/Class3/Street%20Boots-Mens/Class1/
  14. So are the ticket price for Sunday more then it was last year? Seems like it went up from what I remember....
  15. Thanks Guys, I have watched those vidoes before and thats why I was looking at my tires. I think next track day Im going to play with the rear a little to see if I can make it better. As of now I can tell my reboud is not fast enough from watching the bounce tests, so I took some out and it seems better but wont know till I run at the track. How much were the DVDs? and where did you get them?
  16. I have one on my Bell RS-1, could not be happier! It works well in all conditions and takes a min or two to go from clear to full dark. Also the lens seems clearer then any other brand I have tried, it almost feels like you have sun glasses on.
  17. Another thing to look at being a taller rider is seating position or how "big the bike feels". Being comfortable will make you ride better! Looking at the 600 pack I feel the CBR600 (I am one one) has the shortest reach and smallest feeling (comparing Japan 4s only) which is why I picked it since I am only 5'8. Next in line would be IMO the GSXR600 (which I thought felt pretty close to the 750), then ZX6r and lastly R6. The R6 always felt bigger to me for some reason, I think the seat is wider and the reach is longer. Also, depending on your budget and seeing you are really getting into the track day stuff you may want to look at each bike package to see who has the "best suspension", stablizer, ect....
  18. So I was looking at my tire last night to make sure I have enough meat left for another track day and noticed the wear on it and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction if there needs to be a slight rebound/ comp adjustment. So hopfully the photo is pretty clear, I have put some street miles on the bike since the last track day. The tire is a Q2 and I was running 30psi cold. This is a photo of my rear.... my front seems to look good so I did not take a photo... Anyways, you can see where the sipe closest to the sidwall has leading edge wear and the trailing edge is pretty squared off (normally I think this has to do with to slow of rebound), however the sipe above has some trailing edge wear and the leading edge is pretty square. Would this be due to a comp not being fast enough? Too little/too much air? Or just normal? Like I said the front is pretty square on each side of the sipes. I do have my preload set to 30mm in the rear.
  19. Im sure Iron Pony can get an Arrow.... However, I think this ex looks good on a CBR1000, its not from a local vender but its made in the USA! http://www.toceperformance.com/Toce_Performance_Honda_CBR1000RR_08_10_T_Slash_p/tph108-ts.htm I have the one for the 600rr and it sounds really good! Kinda loud though, so if you do not want something so loud then this is not the way to go.
  20. Cool, PM me when you think you might go. Are you looking for a liter bike or 600? I have seen a bunch of 600s for sale in the c-bus area. Well my bike was in pretty decent shape after my wreck, the only damage was some scraps on the right fearing. So after digging out the gravel for 3hrs, cleaning out the throttle tube, front fork alignment check, and giving her a good spit shine she is back to normal with a little rash on the right side.
  21. It could be due to having to much pressure on the nerves and blood vessles in the seat area (See link). It has happend to me on long bicycling rides. I found proper seating position/moving around is a must and you have to lift your butt up time to time.... For example when shooting from turn to turn lift your butt some when shifting your weight to ease some pressure off your butt for sec. Also, if you cant lift yourself by the end of the 20min session then do what the other said... Fitness! Maybe some lunges and squats will help. http://www.livestrong.com/article/476499-legs-go-numb-when-cycling/
