Hello again, you told me to hit you up for those barrier bars for my 14 after the gap trip so that's what I'm doing. I have sliders on it now but those bars look pretty solid. Not sure how much they were new, what would you let them go for?  Luke

They we're in the $175 range, and are still new in the box.  $90 shipped sound reasonable?

What she said.   Heading north in the morning to pickup a pair of 100s for OMRL race builds and do some more garage cleanup.....so not just chores tomorrow

  3. Taking a break at the Foothills overlook now.  Good weather today, thankfully reports changed for the better.  Heavy fog on the Skyway, but we had a decently clean run through the Dragon an hour ago....just one pimply white Ahole in a Volvo porked up our progress the last few miles

RST MENS TRACTECH EVO RACE LEATHER GLOVES - Size XXL  Yellow

Also RST race Suit  I'm 6'1 220lbs - Not sure the size I'll need

The RST suit I got from RD was a 50US and I'm 6ft 250.  With back protector it's snug, so you'll likely be a 48 to be comfy

  5. I can't elaborate on why the SMH10 doesn't fit the Bell Star very well, but I know the Sena 20S fits just fine on my Star.   I had some intermittent electrical contact issues between the base mount and the unit itself because I'd over tightened the mount clamp on the helmet shell, but once I loosened the bolts up a bit.....the problem ceased and it's been fine ever since.

Fortunately the crash that shook me up was less to do with track conditions and more to do with my own stupidity. The track is grippy, especially in the afternoon when it warms up. Turn 10 (CCW) is a little iffy off the race line though because of the dirt track runoff. I would avoid running wide, and walking the corner before going out just to see how it is on whatever day you're there.

Noticed that corner last summer too.  Would be nice if there was a ditch between that corner and the dirt track to keep runoff away from the asphalt

The crash on Lap 1 Saturday shook me up a bit, took me all of Saturday and most of Sunday to start trusting the tires/track surface.

Some of the seams ( especially those with grass growing out of them ) scare me when I'm on the edge of the tire.  Wife and I rode CRP CCW a day in late July last summer, and while the inside race line was fairly clean...most corners had foliage or soil in the seams off that inside line.  Is it any better earlier in the season?

  8. My season should start by May 19th weekend.  Between being so sick this month and weekend work schedule, I've not been able to get my bike ready.  Still a lot to do on it, but this weekend is going to be dedicated to getting it prepped.

Might try to make it May 6th to spectate and get some more Intel though

Well, back to work after my step-daughter's funeral yesterday.  Everything is weird, with a giant chunk of my soul ripped out.

She suffered horribly these last 2 months, but now the pain is gone.  She is at piece.

My sons, my job, and love of bikes will make each day a little brighter.

I soooo need to go rip some wheelies....

Sorry to hear that, but at peace like you said.....surely brutally bittersweet.

Parents losing their children has got to be the worst form of loss.  My condolences to you and yours sir

Picking up what appears to be a ridiculously clean, never off roaded Xr650 tomorrow. Super stoked.

Needs a little work, but hopefully  nothing major.

    Pics to follow.

Nice.   Then you'll be just a supermoto setup away from the funnest cornering ever

Hellmutt and I are still doing crossfit, we are both still do good. However, some of you might not recognize him this spring....he has lost a lot of weight and toned up.

Well I'm not getting any prettier, so I'll still be plenty recognizable ?
