  1. I'd put these on the doors of my house!
  2. ^^This! Not much lives after a blast from my TC .50 flint :D
  3. Just get some scissors and go crotchless! seems like it would cure sweaty, cheeseball syndrome
  4. Props to ya Exarch for being the man of the house and working hard for the livelyhood of your family - I rep ya for that integrity alone. You definitely need some schooling on physics pros/cons with your bike, so try to make that a priority soon so you can gain valuable skills to keep you safe - it will pay you back 2fold on your insurance premiums so its a win win. From what I see in the map pic of your crash site, I'd wager you fixated on the oncoming guardrail and panic stomped the rear brake making your bike slide out to the left and putting you down on your right side - only thing that makes sense to me since you rightsided a left turn? Just go easy this season and like you said, take the lucky lesson as a whole and continue to learn from it man. The season is just beginning so you have plenty of time to skill-build all year! Low speed maneuvering in an empty parking lot will help you understand YOUR bike's capabilities and the more you do it, the better you'll do it
  5. ^^This!! And basically ALL the major firearms brands too!!
  6. ^^^This! Yeah, from the sound of it Exarch is boggin' the bike too much - those lil 250's run very comfortably between 5k - 10k. Stay a few K away from redline but don't let it fall to 2k-3k in a turn......and I ALWAYS throttle blip back down through the gears to a stop - saves brakes and clutches, but doesn't save fuel.......no worries though, since you're always replacing the fuel with brand new anyway! :D
  7. I'd buy a Snell/Dot (or the like) anyway just for the peace of mind your noodle is protected that much more, and to dismiss any contention against a non-qualified helmet. For drag racing (what I've been told) you will basically need the same riding gear as required for a trackday, but with the addition of a tethered kill switch. Not sure if you can simply drill a small hole into your OE kill switch to attach a loop of safety wire that you can clip on the tether or not, but I have seen it done this way. Most tethers are mounted on the right handlebar (as not to disturb clutch lever position) and hardwired between the ignition and OE switch, and it IS a requirement for drag strips in case of a rider/bike seperation so it shuts the bike down immediately. Just check your local strip to see which they require you have before simply showing up unprepared and be denied running
  8. Older you get, the more important it is to stretch thoroughly before and after. When I'd started a workout regiment again years ago, I didnt exercise at all the first week just stretching twice a day - then once I did start cardio and weight routine, it was easier to recover - worked for me anyway:dunno:
  9. Come n get it! If you dont want to build it, I've seen used cylinders alone on egay going for half of what I want out of the whole kit n kaboodle - I am not looking for a profit what-so-ever, I just want my work benches and some floor space back in my garage - so trying to pass this project to anyone willing to take it on at a hell of a deal. Parting things out are a hassle imo since they take so long to sell everything and usually end up giving a bunch of it away in the end just to get rid of it. I'd rather damn near give it all away to get it all gone once and take a loss now vs. spending a lot of time selling this n that just to end up losing money in the long run anyway
  10. Yes sir, its all there and then some since the 2nd engine is mostly all there too. The po of the engine said the topend was bad but had a solid bottom end, thats all I was really after at the time as Honda wanted about the same money for just one case half. When I gutted the 2nd engine I did find the piston skirt had blown apart and ejected out the exhaust port, no damage done to the cylinder but I only have my old piston to rebuild with - so minus some trans gears, a clutch fiber or two, one case half, and a piston.......theres 2 engines. I will get some more pics of things I missed (exhaust, bodykit, seat, bars) but with all that I've already bought, the bike only needs a front tire and tube to be back in riding condition (aside from the hours and hours to reassemble:D). For it to be running AND look good, the bars are a little tweaked and could use replacements, the frame needs stripped and painted or pc'd, and maybe a graphics kit too
  11. Last year for the chromoly frame, engine/trans needs assembled and there's more than one engine here - buyer will have a spare cylinder, rod n crank, clutch basket, carb, mag/stator, clutch housing, clutch cover, stator cover, cyl headcap, etc. I had a bad idea of trying to undercoat the frame, so the white scrathes here n there are where I took my fingernail to it, obviously didnt stick at all so it would need blasted or stripped before repaint or pc. Also has an almost new UFO black bodykit that was ridden with a few times but no decals or anything on them so be a blank canvas for whatever the buyer wants. The seat is in good shape with a OneIndustries cover, no rips or tears. I'm throwing in a brand new Thor armored undershirt with shoulder, elbow, back armor.

    Cooling down

WTF? So......the marriage is just a cover so you can remain an in-the-closet sausage eater?
  14. Sadly, you're exactly right........it's about the nicest sit-down joint we've got here So to us in northern Miami county, it's extree fanseee!!
  15. I put Rotella T syn in your bike this time, store was out of Mobil1 that I typically use and haven't ordered more Amsoil yet - but that's what I plan to get us. I switched over to Amsoil on my bike last year, so we'll do the same on yours when it's due again.
  16. Think our wifeys would get along well, mine isn't afraid to tackle most any project so I always have help when it's needed. She's done quite a bit at our house from pulling up tile flooring, painting almost every room, helped me put in front and back doors, helped rebuild our deck, and she put in 2 of the 3 windows in our basement too.
  17. Thats her favorite place, so I am happy about that - some women would ask to fly into Boston for some fancy cuisine......not my wife, she'd rather crack crab close to home :rolleyes:uuuuh, yeah:rolleyes:.......I'm not liking how literally you're taking me right now:nono:just a joke babe.......just a joke WTF:eek:!! Thats one high iron diet! If that does happen, guess who gets a new 2012 ZX14
  18. Yeah, we sort of traded roles today - she worked on her bike and I made us a quick dinndinn - Nothin' wrong with hotdogs n salads but she just put in a turn signal, if she'd accurately completed a valvetrain adjustment on MY bike we would be sittin' at RedLobster right now:lol:
  19. Came home from work today and found this in the garage... I gotta give my wife ( aka snot ) props - We bought Protons for her 250R and since she didnt have much to do, she decided to install 'em while I was at work! Although I tend to be anal about working on all of our vehicles/bikes (within reason) I'm happy I didnt have to do it since last time I was wiring her new LED taillamps for the fender elim, I tried to sever a finger. So does anyone else's better half do their own bike mods??
  20. Bump -- $500 for everything?
  21. :welcome: Roo And Tim, I know the feeling when my wife got her 800 Intruder I could just about sit on the back seat and still be able to reach everything to ride the bike........now she's got a Ninja 250 that I rode home from the dealer for her -- that day her poor little bike was well beyond it's payload:D
  22. I was pissed when TWC took away my Military History channel, I miss R. Lee Ermy! But I dealt with it since we didn't want to add yet another pkg onto our bill -- However, I'll never ever ever ever be able to go without my Speed HD channel - 'tis the lifeblood of my TV racing season existence
