  1. We all know theres plenty of good "Off Road" forums in existence already but this is our " Local, hey I ride a bike but dig The 4x4 thing too". Primary Objective- Bring some 4x4 people together if theres enough here to call it a group and share some pics, BS or places to wheel. Ive Been to the usual spots around Oh which are becoming less and less. Wellsville, and Hillsville. Ive been building an 85/87 Yota TD for a few years. It wheels pretty good and is always looking to dislodge jeeps.
  2. SPDLR has created a new social group called "OFF ROAD TRUCKS", with the following description: To join this group visit the social groups homepage where this new group will be listed.

Looks like this group needed one. I wanna ride i wanna ride I wanna ride:banana: Fucking sick of this cold!
  4. Dude, it never fails... Ive sold loads of shit on CL and youll get the lowballers, scammers and deadbeats. Just stick to your guns and be patient.. . New interested partys are always sniffin around, so tell this toad to forget it and wait for the next one. And I only use Craigslist for expensive or large items i dont want to pay percentage on or ship. ebay the rest.
  5. Its really cool of you to help and open your home to these guys. I hope he finds a good home as well. It must be hard to let them go after spending so much time with them. Ill pass the word for you while im doing the same for Ricco.
  6. No disrespect to the 125cc 2 stroke. Ive ridden my fair share and they just dont have the low end for trail riding. They are suited more for high speed, and they do move. Ive run my 250 around a hairscramble short course then jumped on my brothers 125 and absolutely killed the time i was making on the 250. The 125 is lighter and seems to hit the power or sweet spot quicker on the track coming out of corners which helps to maintain higher speed on average. The 250 does that too but you seem to be fighting for traction more maybe because of the low end. Depends what your going to be riding more. 250 for trials with lots of hills or 125 for tracks...Just my opinion. But having never ridden a newer 250...They are a hand full Bro. It will get away from ya if your not ready. Be safe and take it easy for a while. Wear your gear and when that arm pump sets in take a break before something bad happens.
  7. Oh ya! Ill bet your thinking about everything that you could use it on. Good luck! When i sprayed my cradles i just did it on the steel table top at work and later after it dried i was able to peel the over spray off in one piece. Its heavy duty. :badgerrock:I also used the spray on the chains for my snow plow. Its held up much better than just paint. My dad has some tools that were my Gramps' from eons ago that he dipped the handles in...That Plasti Dip, if thats what it was back then, is still on there.
  8. Yeah i agree. Hes got some cool markings.
  9. Redkow, I agree with you. If giving him up makes for a better life im all for it. At least he wont be treated like an inmate for the rest of his life. Alot of the time i feel more for animals than i do humans...because they cant help themselves. They live in out world unfortunately. Super Nice of you to offer to help. Thanks man, and thanks to everyone else who has taken the time to look.
  10. Ive used the spray on rubber coat for tool handles and with enough coats... its what you want. Im sure the dip is much thicker. It adheres well too...the spray on did. But i just sanded, cleaned with thinner and sprayed. I used it on Bike stand spool cradle to keep from scratching the swingarm.
  11. I think the owner is not exactly sure what he is, Must have been a rescue. But Mutts always make for a good, loyal dogs. I guess the owner has decided that they are not home enough to have him, he is in his cage 8-10 hrs a day.
  12. I havent found out exactly what he is yet but im guessing Pit/Lab mix. Im sure the owner is asking around too so i dont know how long he will be available. Thanks for the help though.

    Howdy Ho!

    Thanks everyone!
  15. Thought there would have been a Seat threat already but didnt see one in search. Looking to upgrade my CBR mount. I realize probably any aftermarket seat you buy ought to be more comfortable but was wondering who has had what and what they thought. I had a Corbin years ago on my VFR and thought it was nice, but back then there werent too many other options. My Corbin was slippery i remember, do they make seats that stick a little better now? I love options. Thx
  16. My first bike was a DR 350 96...blew it up and added a 440 big bore kit...i rode that around for 2 years and considered myself a med rider until i bought a 98 cr 250...my riding changed 100%. And that piped Cr was as fast as the 440 lead sled, and so much easier to throw around the trails. I know 4 strokes have come a long way since then but ill always be a fan of the 2. Hd 2 cr 250s and loved them..Never fouled a plug in 4 years of riding wellsville, Hillsville, Wayne, ect. 2 strokes are light and SUPER fast and I never felt i didnt have enough power to climb the sickest hills at those places. And yes they can be riden mellow as well. If its jetted correctly, no problems. 2 stroke or die!
  17. Dug the movie, and love the stealth bomber VFR, what a great bike.
  18. I have the Teknic and Icon jeans. I prefer the Teknics for the fit and look but they are both just jeans that are doubled up in certain areas and not everywhere. I wouldnt ride in them without wearing knee pads and shin protection underneath if you dont wear a full length boot.. I just recently purchased my first pair of leather pants and cant believe I waited this long to do so. I also bought a pair of Scorpion? ( dont remember) jeans for my chic a while back and after seeing them I sent them back to replace them with leather. I felt uneasy about her wearing them and just couldnt see them offering any real protection.
  19. I havent seen a single one with an actual camera. I think like the guys said they are just for traffic monitoring.
  20. OMG! that Neon vid was almost better. When you run from the camera like that to perform your stunt, your way too excited and should prob think about what im actually going to record...
  21. Haha, Thanks man. Wether It was the bikes lack of power, or it has LBS, or rider error, the best part of this vid and what makes me cringe is how fuckin badly the dude is just looking for acceptance and to be cheered on....lol, kinda like the new guy getting a compliment, but to his disappointment....no one is laughing with him.
  22. The quality is surprising... In a good way. Maybe not the quietest or in this case the manliest.
  23. And that nice man poured his Miller High Life on the ground to help..If he really wanted to help he shouldve just pushed the bike over.
  24. Haha, What a fuckin ass hat I am. That was almost word for word what i had explained..Shit. No The traffic monitoring had never occured to me especially when i didnt think there were any signs on 71. i just know of the 2 on 480. one EB and one WB. I guess i just assumed contempt.
