I think I read that crime is down overall, but commercial break-ins are up.

But yeah, once people start having to go without food in major metro areas, things will get ugly quick.

    Crime is up around here...

I have my frying pan and spatula ready.

  2. We are the same... Stay in but go out for exercise and to support local food buisness.... Stay in but go check on family and neighbors.... takeout is now allowed to deliver top shelf drinks (or pickup)...

When out stay 6 ft apart or go golfing... Because some how golfing is essential.

  3. @NinjaDoc

Thanks for the updated on what you are seeing.

The VP at my husbands company died, however they are truly essential since they are in Trucking.

Two of our church members are at the nursing home in Miami Co. Where we had an out break. Both are fine, but 6 people died in that home.

I hate working from home. But grateful to be working and healthy. I need to learn patiences and I was becoming addicted to working out.... So, I needed this although I did not want it.

  4. To all those bitching about "going to work", try sitting in solitary confinement.

I got out today and went to work. It was great not sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours, a work computer.... Where they see if you are idle or working and have limited access... And can't modify anything because it is govt owned....

.... I need out of this tiny room more often.

  5. I get to go to work tomorrow! Just for a day but I will enjoy being out of the house.

I hate working from home, I miss being able to get up and wonder around the buildings doing random "inspections".

I use to get 12k steps a day at work now I am lucky to 7k in a day. At this rate I will need bigger leathers.

I think the take-away is that people should take all available measures to insulate themselves from exposure and passively exposing others. Dr. Acton said today that we should all internalize this and, for practical purposes, assume that everyone we encounter is either toxic or susceptible and act to minimize proximity. Pretty fackin' easy to do.

But then she said, check on the elderly and take them food and groceries.... Just pointing out the inconsistent direction...

I understand what she means, but that doesn't mean everyone else does.

Here is a story about a terribly tragic occurrence that happened recently in our country. Stupid people who don't follow experts' rules pay the ultimate price. Totally unavoidable deaths and needless exponential exposure of the virus to others.

So, it took 3 weeks not 14 days to show up?

This is the kind of information we are not getting.

On another note 18 people died this week from floods.

  8. Lab created virus?

I have not heard any new news on how it spreads, how long it last (average), if you can get it mulitple times or how to kill it.

The way it spread so fast makes me think it can be transmitted easier than what we are told. I have not heard if products like Lysol (spray) or other disinfectants work.
