  1. I don't think you are supposed to be using internal project codes out in the open! Just call it the 13M accord!
  2. Saw it in person at PRI in Indy a few weeks back. I think it looks stellar, most definitely want!
  3. reflash on a 335i, Vortech blower on a 4.2L V8 Audi S4? 911 turbo?
  4. PW was in an Evo 7, and Tyrese in an Eclipse 3rd gen 'vert. Wasn't that a movie?
  5. My NOS bottle was empty, Happen to see any diamond plate floor boards go flying thru the air? I lost mine in an epic street race today... I almost had him, but you know winning is winning, doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. I guess I never had my car. Crazy machine gun toting asian gang members blew up my car, but I over night shipped parts from japan for my new ride, it is faster than a ferrari, Which is good, because my annoying roommate lost his Jetta in a race against an s2k. I never narced on nobody, so I will kick your ass. but damn, You're a cop Brian!, A cop, and now Jesse is dead. yeah sorry about that. Here, have a new car. Happy now? your welcome and good bye. So yeah, I had a crazy morning. Oh wait,,, just realized original poster drives a subaru... you were made you couldn't keep up with the mighty 4G63, weren't you?
  6. Front Mac Struts are a double ball joint, so a virtual pivot point,, how is this not modern? And damn near everything has some sort of "multilink" rear sus. Is it not modern because is isn't double wishbones at all four corners like a .....a... . old honda?
  7. I am all over the place with this,, I looked at that exact Volvo this morning, and then looked at Trailblazers. I think I have severe Automotive hyperactive attention deficit disorder. .. Volvo Wagons, SUVs,, oh wait,, what about an old 530i?
  8. too rare, and my '90 Tsi, was never reliable. Never ever. Loved that car, but I wouldn't trust them to run long enough to make it to the grocery store..
  9. hmmm cheap Silverado or F150? might suck commuting with that downtown... but not the worst idea ever
  10. In Washington, where I am heading, there seems to be a pretty high "subaru tax". I could possible make a little on one of those as well if I find a rust free example here. The biggest problem is, my current car is a company lease and I will turn that in soon. I need to find something to drive out west and hold on to for a few months until I get settled in... Maybe give up on the fun to drive portion and find an old accord... too much indecision.. I have no idea what to do...
  11. I never thought of the 3 series BMW, that is a good find. might call them tonight.. I had a 90 DSM once. big 16G, exhaust and S-AFC. I miss it terribly. it was the most unreliable car I have ever owned. I would love one, but wouldn't trust it to make it all the way to the Pacific with out serious electrical gremlins leaving me stranded in Wyoming.
  12. I have 5K to spend on a new beat up daily driver. I do need it to drive across country to start a new job on the west coast..What is the most fun, yet remain somewhat reliable vehicle you can find for 5000 dollars. Original bugeye wrx? LT-1 F body? Integra GSR? I have zero brand loyalty, don't even care for FWD or RWD, fun can be lateral acceleration or linear acceleration.. Anything else I should be looking for??
  13. what is the song on the first video? and awesome..
  14. where does the 3 car lengths come in? You can't see the honda, but it's shadow sure looks even with the Camaro. Pretty impressive for 2.0L liters vs 6(?)L
  15. Being the oldest kid in class is a tremendous advantage. always more mature... better at sports as she will have an extra year to grow... Go check out the book Freakonomics... there is a much better explanation with statistical data to back up the claims.. http://freakonomics.com/2011/11/02/the-disadvantages-of-summer-babies/
  16. Pneumatic valves is not the same as Cam-less. Pneumatics just remove the coiled metal valve spring and replace it with an air spring. F1 and MotoGP have done that for years. Fiat Multi-air replaces the intake cams with a hydraulic actuator.. a traditional cam still moves the exhaust valves, and a traditional cam still serves as the high pressure pump that actuates the hydraulic servos to move the valve....
  17. Wait, is she hot? If so, maybe she can "work" off the debt if you know what I mean.. wink wink nudge nudge.. (I'm hinting at sex as a pay back method...) Is she isn't hot, well,, do the same thing, but face her the other direction....
  18. how much overlap are the cams? once you can be 100% sure the valve is fully seated, and the cam is on its base circle, you ought to be able to set tappets. Why are you shying away from TDC method?
  19. Wait, hold on, it's just a puppy? Only 9 months old? Next time it jumps your yard, scratch its ears and rub its tummy. Teach it to socialize with your pugs properly while it is still a pup. That way when he jumps the fence again, your two dogs have a friend to play with. Just because there is a size difference, doesn't mean they can't play well together. My old Rottie used to love playing with a neighbor's Min-pin. It was ridiculous to watch, but they never hurt each other. Then go shoot your neighbors... but leave the dog alone...
