That i5 will be able to handle just about everything you would throw at it with the 6GB of Ram. I have had problems with Toshiba in the past, my moms Toshiba (Looks similar to the one you posted) has a major design flaw that the HD was located right around where the track pad is so when you would close it you vibrate the hard drive causing the disc to rub. Friend fixed it with a new hard drive but when he ran test on the bad one he said he has never had a HD fail everything.
