  4. Wheels would be perfect to put slicks on then for track days. Have any pics? Wanting catless. It a cat back or just stock with weld ins?
  5. Anyone have some things laying around for a 96-98? Looking for a catless mid pipe, cat back, short throw, sway bars, factory cobra wheels.
  6. I have a 07 Jetta with the 2.5 that I bought for my girl friend to drive. Been a good car minus it killing head light bulbs once a year. 2.5 isn't bad on gas. But not the best. Probaly more has to do with the way she drives.
  7. Hm. Don't plan to do boost for this car. Will focus more on the suspenion then I will anything. Basic bolt ons but want the most out of the car. Want to see as close to 300 wheel as I can. With 4.10's would I be close to 2,500 at 65?

  15. Yupp. Autocross is a blast I'll be out with the cobra this coming year. It's addicting be warned.
  16. Full exhaust, jlt intake, sway bars, a tune and some Sticky tires are the plan for the cobra so it is ready for some autocross / track days in spring.
  17. I'm to cheap for that lol. I want a stright but don't have to be perfect one. I found a white hatch for cheap I'm going to try and go get this weekend.
  18. Yes true but I want small cube all motor 400wheel for autocross and track days. I know ill end up having a pretty penny In this in the end. But I don't want boosted. Inthink turbo car even on low boost coming out of a corner I would just burn tires. But yeah send it my way. I've seen a few builds where they had 4k into a swap all the way up to 10k I've been looking have yet to see a white hatch that was swapped. I enjoy the build though. Rather build it the. Buy it then it's the way I want.
  19. Here the problem. I want 400wheel even if I did a expensive hci on A 302 I. Going to get no where near that. Where as I take. 5.3 slap on ls6 heads intake tb and a 228 cam and I should see 370-400 is my goal. Make sence now? My last fox had a hci and I was very much disappointed that it didnt even make 300 wheel. Hell my buddies 306 had trick flow heads x cam and still only mad 330 and that was blueprinted and balanced. Also I never understood the point of Ls swaps till a few of my freinds bought a Ls car. There damn good motors.

  21. a 6 point is the plan. Drag racing is fun but I enjoy track days and autocross. Be set up more to favor corners the. A stright line. After going back and forth I've decided inwant a hatch. Going to go with a lm7 still up in the air on what heads to us. The 5.3 heads or get a set of ls6 heads, 228 cam fast 96 intake and tb. Is my plan. Still doing some digging on if the intake and tb will worth while for a 5.3 or not. My goal is 400rwhp. Have no clue what trans will be best either. First time digging into Chevy stuff. My welding goes as far as tacking something in place. I would not trust a cage welded by me lol. Haven't had enough practice.
  22. Yeah but in against killing a good 4 eye with 87+ What id really like is a coupe and put a t top roof on it.
