can you mill heads?

its a piece of shit. they were orginal asking 3,500 for it earlier this year. its rusted to hell and back. you can find a much better starting point for less imo.

anyone on here work for one? want to get my heads milled and the block honed for the new pistons. ( standard bore ) and need someone to extract a broken lower intake bolt out of the head. i tried heating it up and cant get it out. and i dont want to risk messing up the head.

to aggreivie for me. 250 for complete motor plus a core of 65 so i took them a blown up 3.8 as the core lol. better come over a check it out then.

head gaskets. i was driving down walker road. the temp gauge pegged i went to reach for the key to shut off and motor died.. i had done an oil chainge on it sunday. it blew wed. there was only 2 quarts of oil in the pan. and it looked like a milkshake. headgakets blew. and only 60psi in #5. gonna wait to pull the heads till there ready to go off to the machine shop. but the motor was damn clean on the inside. no build up. just oil. onl problem is one intake bolt snapped in the head. and of course it was the last one. we tried heating it up and i cant get it out. so im just going to have the machine shop deal with it becasue i dont want to mess the head up. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/88Mustang302/0624090453.jpg

they do. its why i got speed pro forged pistons and rods. there going into the explorer motor after its all tore down. i put a project thread in the project section. like 40 seconds ago.

EDIT: forgot to add. old motor blew up. thats why im doing this now and not this winter....lol. went and bought a running explorer motor today. for a damn good price. also got some other stuff... so far ive got. ~ complete explorer motor. ( GT40P heads ) ~ speed pro pistons (flat top) full floating pins with spiral locks. and a new set of forged rods with bolts with bronze bushing for the floating piston pin. all balanced. ~ rings ect for pistons ~ Steeda # 19 cam. ~ X303 cam ~ double roller timming chain. know i still have alot left to buy. gonna start yanking the explorer motor apart sometime soon. its still in the back of my truck, ill un load it in the morning and get it on the engine stand. buddy has a B cam in his hatch. ported e7's, trickflow upper and lower and exhasut 3.73's and the car runs like a raped ape.

the lil ole 302 is dead. lets put it that way.

i have a 8.8 out of a 99 GT. center section is fucked. ( cut into to get retainer out so we could swap axles ) housing is still good though. i ave the stock 4 lug axles out of my fox as well if he would need them. 44k on them when removed $50.00 for housing. $30.00 for axles.
