  1. Congrats man! that's awesome I'm in my sophomore yr at UA. (A congrats and a free bump in one.) Hope you find something engaging and interesting.
  2. Congrats! I know the feeling, I'm still 2 yrs in the making. Finished then dropped it, now I gotta repair the fairings and lever to restore the design. Check out my build/redesign if you get bored. No updated pics, but fairly recent enough.
  3. Sounds like it would've been fun. I hate I just started checking OR again. Happy riding season.

  7. lol, thanx fellas, i'm pretty proud of this being my first build... ready to finish this up and begin the refresh of my A6.
  8. Still incomplete, but fastened up and running
  9. Emblem work... I was finding the size ratio of the leaf in proportion to the "O"
  10. These pieces are cleared... vinyls are being created at a shop and upper and middle cowl are cleaned and prepped ready for their final coats
  11. I've been to Land... go to World. Land was pretty good, but in some ways is wasn't significantly better than our own parks.
  12. UPDATE w/ pics Well... the artist that was suggested for me turned out to be a real **** up, so I took the plastics as they were as soon as I could. Leaves weren't painted, touch-ups for over sanding wasn't done. Condition is fairly dirty, with minor overspray, and emblem placement is incorrect in the fact that it's missing two different emblems because he put the same thing on all opposing fairings. Soooooooo... as they always say... if you want something done, you've gotta do it yourself. So, I'm going to create vinyl buckeye leaves and paste them over all the O's. also, this winter I may resand the incorrect emblems and vinyl them on. Kind of disappointed, but whatever, I'll handle it myself. Next stop, relay the clear. and now update (uncleared):
  13. Mannnnn, I'll tell you. I was pretty sure this would have been done a long time ago. I'm so anxious to finish I've been out at the shop everyday. Glad we finally got a day to lay the paint, once the stencils are on and it's all cleared I'll be much happier. I literally just got finish dealing with a small issue with the signal mirrors. Did a mock up and realized that the adjustment on the aftermarket baseplate was vertical, basically leaving the mirrors pointing str8 up. I removed the base plates from the stock mirrors, turned the new mirrors sideways and mated the oem baseplate. That turned my frown back upside-down. I think I lost my seat cowl too lol
  14. WELLLLLL... *sigh, I'll finally be laying color next week. Just wet sanded and pre-cleaned the plastics for paint.
  15. Yea, the 9600 is another sq deck they made, never had the pleasure of owning one.
  16. Much too many to list. This is a premium sound quality head unit. Internal crossovers for each speaker and 16 band EQ onboard. The most advanced features are it's ability to run 2 or 3 way active (run, control, eq, and manage crossovers for each individual tweeter, mid, sub, etc, while sending the cleanest unprocessed signal directly to each amplifier/speaker. Also does automatic time, alignment, and equalization. More accurate details below, there's a ton of things in the manual Operation Manual is downloadable from: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_11221/300588614DEHP880PRSOperationManual.pdf Installation Manual is downloadable from: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pio/pe/images/portal/cit_11221/300588619DEHP880PRSInstallationManual.pdf Manufacturer's Details http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/CD-Receivers/DEH-P880PRS
  17. Starting Price only $100 [ame]http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110884463834#ht_4202wt_1413[/ame] Cosmetically the unit only sports normal wear and tear which is limited to fine scratches. No gashes, no mild scratches, nor abrasions. Unit is functionally solid as well. I did not receive an outer trim piece when I bought the unit, but it's never been a problem for me personally, I forgot it was never there. You can also order one if you so desire.
