Well, looks lke the vote is NEWISH... Guess I will get new and just RESTORE the F2 to stock minus suspension.. Runs great and doesn't really need anything besides a valve adjustment maybe clutch and TT guides.. Then will just go ahead and spend the money on paint...
I want a beast... lol I could just roll it up on my gsxr and that is the kinda power I want.... My XX scared the hell outta me but that was also almost 15yrs ago I have gained alot more riding skills since then....

No when it comes to rockets I have only ridden what I have owned..
In order
97 gsx750r got new in crate : RIP 800 miles on it and lady pulled out I front of me
97 cbr1100xx : RIP, let a friend ride it, bike never returned in one piece
93 cbr600 f2
96 cbr600 f3
-
I would really like a 750cc class bike but I am partial to Honda and they don't make anything in a rocket between a 600 and a 900...
I don't know, I still have time to shop around... might end up going back to a gixxer
-
If I go new I will have to shop around... but I am going to try and buy around Dec or Jan to get a cheaper deal
-
I am seriously thinking about new....
But I will keep the F2 and F3 to either restore or for goof off and loaner bikes
-
I was looking to spend at most 15k cash....
Comfort to you might be different to me...
I had spinal surgery and still have issues...
-
Either way.... I was looking at the 2012 CBR 1ltr but I am not sure on the fly-by-wire thing
I have always wanted a RC51 but after riding In lines for so long I am not sure about the v twin
Never rode one though.

On a side note
Please understand I am kinda partial to the older CBR as they are getting harder to find and less common on the street....
-
OK all I want some honest opinions here..
I am debating on one of two things.
1. New bike for next season
Or
2. Rebuilding the F2
By rebuilding I mean
New suspension
Complete new body kit
Powder coating frame and various others
637cc Wiesco big bore kit
Dynojet stage 1 jet kit
Performance carbs
Modified hardweld cams
Modified crank w/cnc'd connecting rods
Shifter mods to eliminate missed shifts (common problem on older cbr's)
Cnc'd clutch basket
D&D carbon fiber slip on
Ceramic coated header
520 conversion -1/+2
Maybe more.....

It's f*ked up, her reasoning for stealing it was " I was unfamiliar with the area" all she did was drive home..... Investigators say body was damaged during theft...

I have the Acer Iconia A500 Android Tab, It is a great all around tab but has not even half the tab specific app selection as Ipad but they do screen scaling pretty well when using apps designed for a Droid phone... I couldn't imagine a WebOS tab as app selection would suck....

Holy sheetz......

Almost any Intel chip set and cpu will work just double check the SSE instruction set for cpu, also Apple comps usually use ATI graphics cards....
Last time I built one I used an old P4 w/HT

I didn't see it.....
