My RR is going out on my 93 CBR F2
I am looking for an aftermarket preferably as they have the cooling fins
But according to several posts from cbrforums I can also use a 5 wire gsxr RR
used gsxr or yamaha unit ( I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting a suzuki unit.(I have 2003-2004 GSXR1000 but I think all units about after 2000 are interchangeable.MAKE SURE it HAS only ONE CONNECTOR on the end, not two.) It has wires coming out of it as opposed to the connector, so it's very easy to solder , to the wire harness. It's a little bit more work, but should be the most reliable solution. )Anyone have a gsxr RR unit laying around?

It's not that hard.. I just did my first one a little over a month ago... I got 2 tire bars from harbor frieght.. I cut out 3 plastic squares from old 5qt oil bottles to use between the bars and rim.. and furniture polish to lube the tire.... was actually easier than I thought... Just make sure to line up the valve stem dot... I also balanced my tire on the bike...

I am getting about 42-45 on the ole F2
I usually get 150 by the time I hit reserve

Technomike1 is closer if he is up to it.... But if not hit me up.. I work that weekend but I can take off.....

There are quite a few rocket riders in Massillon that are not on here....
I might be riding to a friends in Westerville this weekend, might be a good ride for you to come along...

My 93 F2 will shitngit but will not pickup the front unless I clutch it or bounce it..
But I kinda like it that way because I can give her all she's got and not worry about the front picking up when I don't want it too.... Although getting on it hard she will come up about an inch sometimes when shifting

ok. For $3, I'll take them to a tire shop. That's not too bad. Not that I'm a treehuggin green giant, but no sense in making things worse.
Terry's Tire Town or almost any tire shop will take them....
Bring them to me and I can dispose of them next door to my work at Eagle Tire for $3 per tire
-
Trash will take them if you cut them up, but the proper way to dispose of them would be to take them to a tire shop and pay the $2-$3 disposal fee....

I don't know, I haven't recorded enough with it yet... And yes the GoPro quality is much better but hey I only paid $100 for this setup and it serves its purpose you know.... Eventually I will get a GoPro HD...
I just don't like the mic on this setup it is a highly sensitive enviromental mic..
I still need to add some padding, I did relocate it to the cluster area and it still gets a distorted... I also get engine noise from the direct power setup...
As for recording the manual does not say anything about continuous recording, it just says it will record 6hrs per 2gb sd card.....

Wear full gear and take him for a embarrassing ride... Hell, I'll even let your borrow my F2 to make it worse.... roflmao

No, I thought it was funny because of the fact they make out a "vehicle" accident report for it....
-
I wanna go soooooooo bad... lol
-
Yes these reports are always harvested by lawyers and Chiropractors
-
To give a little insight, I file OSP accident reports for 17 ohio counties
and man do I see some stupid yet funny shit...

Well I finally got my Cam installed...
Used a piece of aluminum bent it ran a bolt through, used some rubber line on the bolt so when you tighten it, it compressed the rubber line to retain the mount in the Triple tree neck tube..
Going to clean up the bracket later
Took the base off the camera mount and fastened it directly to the windscreen..
Nice setup but the mic mounted under the seat per instructions sucked..
Mic was too close to exhaust and also too sensitive... Moving the mic to the front fairing under the dash and going to add some padding to try and reduce the sensitiviy.... Also need to install a + side inline noise filter..

Tim,
My cuz (and neighbor) breeds Poms and it is not unusual for them to be like that with taller and or bigger people.. Try spending more time at "his" level.. Sit or lay down on the floor and let him come to you.... Persuade him with treats if need be..
