  1. Beater with a heater. Has the 5.9 in it. 4wd works. Good tires. New water pump, fuel pump, front and rear suspension, track bar.. lots of stuff replaced. Runs good. Have driven it several times to work 40 mins each way. Mostly used it around the property to haul stuff. We already have another truck and a side by side so don't really need this too. I was going to have my step son drive it for a first vehicle but insurance is too expensive due to it being a "sport" with a 5.9 in it. It needs a joint replaced in the driveshaft. And the steering wheel isn't straight but it drives straight. Just little stuff we never got time to fix. Otherwise a good rusty but trusty truck. $1200.

  2. This is why I like living in the middle of no where. My commute took me the same amount of time it always does. Without idiot drivers in my way. Granted when it snows a crap load, it kinda sucks a little bit because they don't prioritize our roads to plow, but the Subaru's get around good enough it beats dealing with shitty drivers every day.
  3. So is that like a grey or silver center?

If you guys decide to do an open center or white in the future I’ll get new ones but for now I’ll keep reppin’ my older decal on my car. If you have some the next time I see you I’ll get one for something else.

It's a very light silver center.

All current orders have been shipped.

Best decision ever was getting rid of the Navigator. Over 11k paid out by the warranty company the 1 year we had it. While I loved the vehicle over all, I did not like the fact it rarely left the dealerships service dept.

  5. Whirlpool Stainless front black sides fridge with freezer over top. It works right now. But it has cut out a couple times where it isn't as cold as it should be. I would only trust it as far as a garage fridge with pop/beer in it unless you want to fix it. I haven't looked at it and I don't have time to mess with it. I bought a new one that is being delivered Saturday. FREE to anyone that wants it before I set it on the curb this weekend.
  6. Anthony made a post on facebook about these, and there are a lot of people wanting them already. Our first order of 25 should be coming in soon but with the high demand we are placing a second order. Wanted to see if there are any people on here that are not on facebook that would like some as well. Info copied from facebook below.

The new CR decal/logo should be here in a week or two. Post here if you're interested, they'll be $5 each and I'll order more depending on demand.

Also, a huge thanks to Michael Weisenberger for the design!

  7. Looking to see if anyone can come up with a business card design that we can mass print and hand out. Something like a "Spotted! Come join us at Columbusracing.com" .... you get the idea.

We have some old stock ones that are very basic with columbusracing.com as the only thing they say, but kind of looking for something a little more flashy.

  8. When I see it sometime I'll look it over and work a deal for you guys. IF and that's a big IF they did any type of correction, even partial, that will go a long way in saving money. Coating wise, I doubt they put anything good on there. Jax Wax and Simonize are two typical car dealer suppliers for what they call coatings but both are very meh at best. I've used them and seen them applied by dealers and like you said, no comparison. The key is in the correction and polish

They actually had to send it to a detail shop because the chemical they put on it brought all the swirls and scratches to the surface and it looked like crap. So they sent it out, then reapplied their sealer stuff. It looks good, but not G8 good. Still has some spots that need help.

  9. Nice find. Will look great with the black done right ;)

Yeah, you have us spoiled with the detail you did on the G8. They did a detail on it and put something on it to prevent it from getting scratches and rust....... It doesn't look nearly as good as the G8.

  10. Stainless steel clutch cable, separate clutch/brake fluid reservoirs, short-throw shifter, and an exhaust should be top of the list. Hope she holds together for you.

It does have a shifter and a Corsa... I will have to look at the other things.

    So far so good!

  11. So i bought another control unit as the one in the truck looked pretty beat up anyways. New unit shows a snowflake with a line through it, which is new... old one just had a snow flake. This did not fix the problem obviously since its showing the line through the snowflake.

Messed around a little more with the scanner. I still have no idea what isnt working. Its like something isn't sending the signal to turn it on and i have no idea what as everything i have replaced/tested works. Considering the A/C works perfect with a manual input guessing not wiring, compressor etc... about to send it to a shop as i don't know what else to replace/try.

  12. I will defer to Scott on the Tech II as I have had/used "generic" scan tools.

If the ability to turn on the compressor is "withheld", it would leave me to believe the PCM is still seeing/not seeing something it needs to allow it to run.

"Open the pod bay door Hal", "I'm sorry Dave, I can't do that"

    Those days have arrived!!!

I am kind of thinking the actual control unit is bad. The little snowflake emblem stays on during all of this showing the A/C is on instead of flashing or turning off. I also figured out my rear defrost is doing the same shit. :fuuuu: I swapped out pressure switches with a friends that are known good and nothing changed. So ruled those out.
