  1. Lol, you expect me to notice the details?
  2. I find it's the only way to post. I was posting online and ordering a valve shim tool for my bike while I was drunk. I remember actually hitting the checkout button. Later when no tool arrived I check my order status, and there was no order. I was so drunk I didn't complete it. Plus my words get harder and harder to read from the misspellings.
  3. Check your bank, my bank does it for free for their customers.
  4. I am still trying to figure out the purpose of that article. It sounds like the guy in the article quit his job before deployment. If your in the guard you know all about these issues. Like you said if you quit your job to deploy, your just a dumb ass. The hardest thing about this last deployment has been registering for school. You get a deployment date, you don't sign up for that semester, and then the deployment date gets pushed back several time. You could've taken that this semester after all. That happened to about a quarter of the people in the Company. They lost out on a year of classes they could have taken. They are going to bitch about it, but they aren't going to run to a reporter and cry about it. Same thing about jobs applies to the college, if you get the college, scholarship and loan lenders a copy of your orders, you have no issues returning to school when you get back. All this stuff is drilled into your head as a soldier. You get tired of hearing about it. I get weekly emails from a military officer and job leads. Including jobs that pay full salary while you are deployed. The lack of information has not been there. Some people just have to have something to bitch about. The other thing that has happened are the soldiers that had no job before deployment. They were relying on this deployment as a full time job. There were a LOT of soldiers in the position.
  5. I don't know a Solider that likes the M9. I about ready to trade my Glock 21 for a 9mm compact or subcompact myself.
  6. Yes, they are trying not to have surgery, but it's not off the table yet.
  7. Orthopedic Specialist say three to six months. I'm still waiting to hear from the Army on what they consider me.
  8. As most of you know I started Mobilization training to go to Afghanistan several months ago. I'm back at home with what I hope is only a minor spinal injury. I have a herniated and torn disc in my lower spine. I've been told it will take three to six months to recover. I'm now considered medically non-deployable. The rest of my Company arrived in Afghanistan about a week ago. I broke my phone while I was down there, but I managed to get a few pics during my time at Camp Shelby, MS. Small Pox Vaccine
  9. The only thing OWS has accomplished is reaffirming my hatred for Apple.
  10. I have one with four keepers also. I haven't thought about selling my gear yet. But now you brought it to my mind. You are talking about a snap buckle and not button snaps right?
  11. Yeah, count me in too. I can barely get out of the house cause of my injury.
  12. I have two for my Glock 21. http://www.safariland.com/DutyGear/product.aspx?pid=6280 http://www.safariland.com/DutyGear/product.aspx?pid=6004

  17. The Ride of a Classic Bike? As an owner of a 70 CB750, the ride kinda sucks. I still love my bike though, but I am saving up for a newer FI sport bike.
  18. Thank you to all the Patriot Guard Riders, and specifically to the ones escorting Bravo Co. 1-148th INF RGT yesterday. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk

If it attaches to the rifle or your load carrier, tie it down. Last thing an underpaid soldier wants is to pay for a laser left behind on the battlefield.
