  4. Well I took my last ride today (Monday). Ill be heading to the Armory on Tuesday and will be in Camp Shelby, MS in a few days to start Mobilization training. Glad I got to meet a couple of you and hope to meet more after I return. If you would like deployment updates and hopefully lots of pictures, feel free to add me on facebook. ~ Josh
  5. You will not regret any of the guns listed here. All the ones listed are quality guns. I personally love Benelli and Frenchi but my budget likes Mossberg more. Saiga has a uniqueness because its uncommon here. The only way to really know which one you want is to try them all!!! Im sure it wouldn't. Take much of an excuse for these guys to take you out shooting.
  6. I just sold off a Mossberg 590 for $250. It's a mil-spec shotgun with thicker barrel and a bayonet lug. It comes in both a metal or plastic trigger housing and has a heat shield. Funny thing though, every military shotgun i've seen is the standard Mossberg 500.
  7. I usually ride between 6pm and 9pm depending on when I eat dinner. I go south of Groveport and Canal Winchester. But I only have six riding days left until deployment.
  8. I would have asked that, one of many reasons why I would make a bad cop.
  9. Hit me up if you can do this within the next fifteen days and I'll be in. Otherwise I'm gone for the next year.
  10. Unless you can sucessfully prove carry it as a tool and not a weapon. I don't know if that's true or not but sounds good.

    Oshp....

Yay to bringing up old posts!! j/k I live on the east side, and cops never cared about my 5% tint for years. Then I got a job on the west side, near the old police academy and had a cop do a U-turn in the middle of the road and pulled me over in my works drive way to issue a window tint ticket.
  12. It's free for military day at the State Fair, so that's my plan so far.
  13. Don't have Speed. Ill have to download it later like the other rounds.
  14. I'm still laughing at the face this chick made when she decided to share a lane with me on 70 and then thought she had run me over.

    New cams

No no, when I undo them. The bike is 30 years old and some of these bolts haven't been touch in all that time, in an aluminum engine that has heated and cooled numerous times during that 30 years. Broke a couple of other bolts in the carbs also. And that was even after soaking the bolts a couple of days in penetrating spray. Easy outs and time-serts are my friends. After WD-40 and duct tape.
  16. How does Apple end up with a patent for that? and that? The patent system is broken when it comes to today's new technology.
  17. I'll stop by there. Love the pit area.

    New cams

Yeah, I have a mean habit of breaking bolts. That was a given when I decided to install the new cams. And was a reason why I put it off for so long.

    New cams

I got some 12.9s, the stock were 10s. The 8s are way to soft for this old bike, even with 10s you can only torque it to the bottom range of the torque spec.

    New cams

Friday I started replace the cams in my '79 CB750 with some 900 cams from a CB900. Easy process except I broke eight cam cap bolts. The weekend hit, and no fastener stores were open to buy the new bolts. Monday got the new bolts and finished installing everything. Dropped one of my ignition coils and didnt notice the crack I put in it. Put everything on started it up and smoke started coming out of the ignition coil. Tuesday was spent getting a new coil that worked and charging the battery and continuously turning the engine over until it finally roared back to life at about 4pm. The cam swap itself was really easy, and I had no problems getting the broken bolts out of the aluminum engine. It was so hot in my non A/C garage though. Good thing I'm used to the heat. The biggest irk for me was having to wait two days just to buy eight high grade socket head cap screws.
  21. I'll try and go tonight. What time does most people arrived and depart?
  22. Ill be there on Saturday. I don't know if I'm taking the bike yet or not.
  23. Joined at the Army National Guard at the age of 33 in June 2010. 11 Bang Bang Infantry. Oddly enough I loved Basic. I enlisted knowing my unit was going to deploy. Deployment mobilization starts in about 20 days and then I will be in Afghanistan a couple of months later.
  24. I was wanting to do this, but due to my lack of patience I decided to do a cam swap yesterday. Broke eight cam cap bolts. Got two of the broken pieces out so far, six to go. Enjoy the ride.
