FZ1 mucho faster & quicker in the twisties, can run a whole tank in one sit about 200mi. Good for one up travel. FJR great for two up, hauls gear like a semi. Can run 80 -100 all day on the slab, power wshield, adjustable fairing for heat. Both are the shit for S.T.

This is my fifth year on my 02 and still love it. Fast, handles great, have rode over 500 miles a day on stock seat no problem.

Congrats on the bike. Get insulated waterproof gear, the rain liner makes it wind proof and gauntlet type gloves. Some wear rainsuit to keep out cold, it works in a pinch.

How wide is your rear rim, 5.5 inch will take a 180 tire. Just got Pirelli Angels for $230 from Jake Wison.
