i dont mean for this to sound like an "ad" or anything, its just a easy "loophole" to get shit cheaper. autozone normally has lower prices but higher cores. get a slip from autozone , or whoever has the lowest "list" price, then take a slip quoting the price to pepboys. most starter cores are only like $20-40. theyll beat the list price by 5%

As far as I know, a lot of it will be just reassembly. a lot of the rest is in the back seat / trunk. Will need an exhaust, probably head gaskets, and maybe a few other things. Being in arizona, I haven't even seen the car since the guy was dropping the motor in. I wish I could be more helpful, but I don't want to mislead anyone. You're honestly better off going to see the car yourself. For what it is, it's a very good deal. If you wanted to convert to NA, I'm sure that would be a simple task.

So for those of you who were there on the track day, you know most of the story. To put it shortly... Car made around 450/450 and blew up 2 pistons on the first pass. I took it back to the guy I got it from and he was going to rebuild it. We got through the first 3/4 of the rebuild, new motor and some indy heads, and all the other parts we needed. Then, I moved to arizona when the car was about 90% complete. Then the asshole decided he'd rather just help himself to my parts. Most of the turbo kit is still there, minus the .70 a/r turbo. I have all the receipts for the parts that were there, dyno sheets, etc. So I'm asking $3500 for the shell and everything that's left. It's a clean title and the shell has around 90k on it. Its in great shape. Receipts total to about $11000 without the new motor. Would really rather sell as a whole, than part out. This would be a great project for anyone who feels like getting the other parts it needs. I have a friend showing the car for me. If you have any questions, pm me and I can direct you to him. The first and last time I talked to him was when I told him I'm moving to Arizona. And I'm the one paying for the car. Normally not a huge fan of chrome either, but on the benz it looks nice.

Since I've posted on here after my move to Arizona. But I have gotten some lol'z from a few threads here and there. Hope all is well in blowhio for all you guys. After I moved here I thought I'd finally go ahead and finance a nice comfortable car that will get me through college. I was going to have the mustang shipped out here, but the guy who was supposed to be fixing it decided he'd rather just sell parts off my car.. (rest is for sale btw) I was torn between this and a 2011 wrx wagon. I personally like the sky redline > solstice Gxp. I drove a solstice gxp a couple times at my school, and Idk if it was just me or what, but it was a little awkward to get into, and I wasn't crazy about the overall position of it. Felt really cramped. Never drove a sky though.

Hey everybody, Haven't been on here in a while. The Jetta is still for sale, and I need it gone before next monday. I'll probably be making a trip out east on saturday morning. Patterson came and looked at it, and we determined that the engine would need gone through. As in, taken apart and cleaned up, and possibly repaired. Because of this, I'm letting the car go for scrap price. If someone comes and gets it saturday, they'll take it home for $275. The body and 5sp are definitely worth that. I'd really hate to shred it, but that will have to happen tuesday.

No the wiring has not changed much since I got it. As I said, it was being daily driven, but was run out of gas. Because of the wiring there is no fuel gauge. That's why, when I was driving it, I filled it every day. My mom's boyfriend didn't understand the importance of it not running out of fuel.

Anyone have a good set of mustang 5.0 pistons they'd like to sell? I got a new block,but I guess the won't work with my 512 cam. Id like to just get a good set of stock forged if posible. Need to get these asap!
