  1. So... i went to go to get some micky dees this morning and was pulling out of my driveway but the whole time my drivers rear wheel wasnt moving. Obviously.. i put the ebrake down. But lately i've been getting this grinding noise, that i thought could be the water pump, but now realize was my ebrake sticking. It was drivable the last week or so, even with the noise. Now the car will barely move because the brakes hold and it'll stall. (The calipers were just replaced with new ones in about june) I just got finished bleeding that caliper, which provided enough relief to move it. but it then went back to completely holding it. This is my DD so I need this resolved ASAP! BTW: car is a 98 audi a4 1.8t quattro
  2. When does it end? I work till 6 but would wanna check it out
  3. Wish i could make the trip up to maryland! It seems pretty sweet, I'm sure it'll be a good time. Whoever goes should post many pix!
  4. well i just might do that! lol
  5. http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo285/TheMackOutlet/Audi%20a4/IMG_0151.jpg?t=1256689714 This was the line when i got the car.. http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo285/TheMackOutlet/Audi%20a4/IMG_0157.jpg?t=1256689667 Then I just used one of the wire clamps from autozone. But i checked the fuses and none of the ones that had relevance to the air (per the owners manual) seemed blown... i'll check again though. also, Is there an easy way to test to see if the resistor is blown?
  6. So it shouldn't be TOO much of a bitch to do? Also.. I just thought about this, it might have something to do with it but.... When I was looking at the car the first time the air worked perfect, but the turbo needed swapped. Then, when he did, and I drove it again, the air didnt work. After that I looked and there was an electric line that was cut, that the audi forum guys said goes to the air. When that line got cut is it possible that it blew the resistor? I clamped the wire and everything, but nothing changed.
  7. hope i'm not annoying this issue... but where is that? This is what i got from the audi forums...
  8. Yeah its a 98. B5 body, if that helps. Thanks a lot for your help man.
  9. Also does anyone know where the hell its at??
  10. Tylerrrrrr... This dudes a beast!
  11. Are you talking about this... Resistor Or this.... Blower motor I'm hoping its the first one.....
  12. Lol certainly not... but I'll probably call him sometime if I can't get a simple solution.
  13. Is that gonna cost me a lot?
  14. I did that but i didnt see any blown. I didnt check the ac relay control though. I've heard thats a common problem but would that affect heat? And if my head gasket is blown the car is going
  15. Hello, I have an audi a4 1.8t and i dont have heat OR ac. With winter coming up this reallyyyy sucks.. heated seats dont quite do the trick. I didnt want to pay a shitload to get it done, so i was wondering if you guys would know what it is. I've heard that if I recharge the freon it should help.. but ive also heard that would only help the ac. When i turn on the air / heat all it doesnt do anything. I dont get any fans spinning or anything. Please help me! Thanks
  16. Thanks man, but I have facility to do most of the work. But i appreciate the offer. nowww.... if you have a hookup on the actual springs I'd deff have to let you know!
  17. Yeah those look like what i want, So i'll see if i can get them to come in the kit. Thanks for your help man! Hopefully i can get it to the rest of the forum because i've already learned something, just on my intro page!
  18. haha i was playing with you. but i wasnt being sarcastic. If it really is the case that 8000k is overly blue to purple then I wouldnt want them.
  19. Well thanks for the flame of knowledge. But i've always heard that 6000k was pure white and then the 8000k was blue-white. Thats what i was looking for. I was NOT looking for ricer blue or purple. Just a little bit of a blue. One of my friends on audiforums has 8000k and it looks perfect. I could be wrong but if anyone else has an opinion feel free!
  20. e-code makes good projectors, but i havent seen a good set of halos for cheap that are prefacelift. If you have a link deff lemme know! I was also gonna buy the depo's cuz i can get them with an 8000k xenon conversion built in.
  21. Also, I'm getting a set of H&R sport springs right after i get a set of depo halos. I wasnt going to get the lights till i found out my pass side went out :/
  22. Lol perhaps caused by the 18's? Thanks for the reps tho! quattro is perfect for going up the mountains lol
  23. Hello all, I have lived in Grandview most of my life (about 2 miles out of high st.) but recently moved to pickerington. I drive a '98 audi a4 1.8t quattro in pearl. Yes, my car is mostly stock, but in the spring I'll be doing some work such as chipping it, doing the exhaust, suspension, and possibly a bigger turbo. Last year I met a few people at the Bed bath beyond in polaris, but cant remember any names lol.. I've been pretty active on the audi forums lately, but unfortunately everyone there lives in either cali or texas. So its not good for anything but talking. I'm here to talk about cars, racing, tuning, and the like. Anyways... heres my car... http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo285/TheMackOutlet/Audi%20a4/IMG_0153.jpg?t=1256410662 http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo285/TheMackOutlet/Audi%20a4/IMG_0158.jpg?t=1256410709 http://i384.photobucket.com/albums/oo285/TheMackOutlet/Audi%20a4/IMG_0155.jpg?t=1256410759
