  1. Never seen an exhaust setup like that before...not sure how I feel about it. You could saw timbers with that sprocket lol, looks like you got your money's worth out of the bike. Glws
  2. Welcome. I've also heard there's a really good burger place out that way but the name escapes me.
  3. Everything turns into r&r in the winter, it's like a bunch of junkies ripping each other apart fighting over the last spoon and lighter....
  4. Anyone interested? I used to go to the ama vintage races back when they had them in canton at the stark co. Fairgrounds. Now they're in lima. Flat track is always fun to watch. http://www.westernreservemc.com/default.htm Post up if interested, would be cool to get a group to ride out for a day at the races.
  5. This will get interesting once it's clear who is on what side of the line. If the majority of police refuse to support the state government, they can either backpedal and strike the laws, or maybe request help from state national guard who may not support them either.
  6. Had an akron motorcycle cop pull me over on my cb750 with no baffle in the muffler...you could hear that bike for miles...he was a dick but I bullshitted my way out of getting my bike impounded. Had another akron cop pull me over on the same bike doing 70 in a 35. Ticketed me for 55 and told me to have a nice day.
  7. Ok then, Brian pm me and we will figure out when and where.
  8. Thanks but you don't have to bow out. I want to try it on before committing and we can't seem to get it together.
  9. Why would you exhume such a screen-turd? Pauly shore belongs in obscurity.
  10. Pm me if you decide not to keep the hess.
  11. Yeah I made my own aux fuel cell out of an aluminum jagermeister flask, did a write up on it on here last summer. When it happens while riding I can only get all the barrels firing at large throttle openings, and this is only after a long period of big throttle to drain the bowls down. so my guess is the fuel level is below the idle and slow jets. Ordered a petcock rebuild kit, it's $25 and only takes me about 15 minutes. Will also replace the fuel and vacuum lines, probably needs done anyway.
  12. First thing I checked after kinked fuel line was vacuum line, everything looks good. Diaphragm is probably shot...that or I have a float sticking shut in my carbs..or a piece of debris blocking the little screen on the inlet...it is such a huge pain to get those carbs off tho, it's a horrible design. The air box can't be removed with the carbs on, so you need one person to pull it back out of the way while you pull the carbs halfway out the side of the bike, then disconnect the throttle cables, then pull them out. Nothing is where you want it and everything is in the way.
  13. I know what dirty carbs do, this isn't that. If I put the petcock on prime it does it less. Ethanol in gasoline is bad for rubber stuff. I'll try the sea foam because it's less work but I'm pretty sure it's the petcock.
  14. Put a solid 100 miles on the bandit today. Having a fueling issue, if I get on it and stretch a gear out with 1/2-3/4 throttle it pulls like crazy but then wants to run like shit when just cruising, like it's starving for gas. It's intermittent too. Thinking my petcock may need rebuilt, just did carbs last year and stored it with stabil in the tank.
  15. Fizzer ain't nothing to sneeze at.
  16. Bolted on my first new goodie. Billet aluminum rear brake torque arm, had to order it from Britain. Took some minor modification, had to grind some relief on one side but can't be seen when mounted. and yes, my bike is dirty as fuck.
  17. I want the Hess, just need to get together with you.
  18. Got my bike home on a trailer. Looked it over, flat front tire. Replaced valve core, inflated and waited an hour, no leak. Put maybe 5 miles on just to satisfy the jones. It's so dirty...
  19. ^that. Too tight can put too much stress on the counter shaft seal and bearings and it will leak oil.
