Welcome. A good first bike should be something relatively inexpensive and not insanely powerful. Modern 600 cc sport bikes are putting out over 100 hp and are very unforgiving as far as control input is concerned. I would suggest either a modern 250 or 300, an older 450-550 standard twin or 500-650 standard 4. Yes plenty of people with little or no experience have started out on a 600 and been fine, but a lot more have either gotten scared, sold the bike and gave up the sport or wrecked in their first season. Inexperienced riders should not attempt to ride what is essentially a race bike.

Can you get a dial or digital caliper on them anywhere to measure? Usually there's a gap somewhere big enough to measure.

I like the pro grips that are on it. I ordered some weighted bar ends and will fool around with filling the bars with stuff. Also considering getting a set of different bars, something a bit wider...bandit bars are pretty narrow. Maybe a different length bar will negate the vibration issue.

Bought an agm battery on ebay once. Lasted exactly one season. Spend a little more and get a premium brand.

It doesn't really seem to matter which product you use as long as you use it...with one exception: liquid wrench chain lube is absolutely worthless. It flings off no matter what and needs to be used almost daily. A friend of mine used it exclusively on his katana with a brand new chain and sprocket set and it lasted less than 2000 miles before the chain was completely whipped.

I am highly skeptical this bike makes even 200 hp. With an outrageous claim like 400 hp you'd think they would include the dyno slip in the video like oh idk....EVERY OTHER DYNO VIDEO. Slips or it didn't happen.

After reading the description it is intended to reduce vibration but also helps insulate bars if you have grip heaters. It has a long hose that I presume would reach down towards the clamp area as well. For $35 it's worth looking at and definitely lighter than filling the bars with lead shot or some other material. Also the iso vibe is not 'a little motor'.... it's just a rubber isolator and bar clamp to try and insulate the bars from vibration but looks like it's designed primarily for dirt applications. Little motor?...

Klotz klr is the best thing i've found. Sprays on really thin to get down inside the chain then the solvent evaporates to leave a lubricant film that won't fling off. Chain has to be warm. Don't be afraid to warm your chain up, a few times around the block isn't gonna hurt it. And now here's 25 other people and their opinions on chain care which will eventually devolve into an Internet pissing match.

Ride around as long as it takes. Or hell, just go to bars where they hang out and claim to be an ex member or sonething. If you can't find any hells angels come to Akron and pretend to be north coast 12. Hell, don't even have to pretend, just go to the lamp post on east market pretty much any Saturday night and there will be a few there. You can talk your shit directly to them, or I can give you directions to their club house if you want. I've personally seen these guys in action back when the busted knuckle saloon was open. Seen em hurt a few guys real bad.
