  1. Stage 3 2003 gsf1200s?

I have a stock one I can't give away. Not super interested in another one at this time.

Don't expect a dealer that has to flip these bikes for profit to give you top dollar people. Not shitting on you IMG just seems like some on here think your scamming by not offering much.

They are a buisness that has to make money and pay overhead, nothing more nothing less. So take what you think your bike is worth and minus at least 25% abd hope you can get them to give you that.

Like I said not dissing IMS here but this is the name of the game and sellers need to understand that.

I would imagine this information is implied, but yes. We usually start around KBB trade value. More for perfect motorcycles that are ready to go. Less for not so nice pieces.

Correct, their target is people in need of a quick sale.

^^^ this. It's a lot easier to walk in our shop and walk out with a check than to post of craigslist and deal with what follows lol. We do not hold a gun to anyone's head and make you sell the bike. If we make an offer and it is not what you're looking for, no harm no foul. Definitely not a personal thing, but we do have to make some money to stay around.

That being said, keep on sending the bikes! We do tend to give a little better quotes in person when you can bring it to us and there isn't pickup costs on our end.

  2. That's the season opener race day for omrl.

As much as we would like our event to not interfere with anything else motorcycling, in the Spring that is almost impossible. We have the Midwest Connection Ride coming to the dealership that day which will have riders from Columbus, Cinci, and Kentucky. Should be an exciting day with the Dyno

  3. Thought I would post in here so it doesn't get lost in the clutter of the sponsor section.

Moving out all of our in stock HJC helmets for spring! Need a helmet, come get a deal. Don't need a helmet? Stop by anyways! 25% off anything HJC in stock

  4. I stopped by IndMoto on Monday or Tuesday this passed week, met with Justin to introduce me to a Yamaha YZ8. He briefed me on all of the details from the inspection information, bike condition, warranty, etc. We talked quite a bit making the experience more personable. I prefer to feel like I'm being treated like a friend when buying something, and Justin made that experience possible. The financing was straight forward. Pam, the finance specialist, got me settled quickly because I picked the bike up sooner than they had expected (3/11). There was another girl who worked the front counters (sorry I forget your name, but you were wonderful!) who helped me pick out a helmet even though they didn't have my size in stock, she was able to arrange a next day helmet delivery.

Down to the details of my experience:

Customer service: 10/10 - Very friendly, personable staff, even went out of their way to help me get everything settled quicker than anticipated.

Pricing: 9/10 - I know dealerships exist to make a profit, otherwise they wouldn't be in business. The price was fair compared to similar bikes in the area, though pricing services online such as KBB, NADA had the pricing listed lower for used models.

Availability: 10/10 - Staff stayed after hours to ensure I had all the paperwork completed and the bike was prepped/ready for riding

Motorcycle Condition: 9/10 - 2013 with 2k miles, had a few minor scuffs, exhaust has a few scratches. Nothing I'd complain about in particular except the gaudy transformer emblems the previous owner put on, and the aftermarket fairings covering the exhaust down pipes (note I'm not docking a point for the aftermarket parts, just the scuffs)

Motorcycle ride/comfort: 10/10 - A rather big mistake this entire experience was committing to a sale where I could not test ride the bike before hand due to inclimate weather. That being said, I placed my faith in the dealership to be honest and trustworthy which they were in every aspect. Riding this bike home felt like velvet cloud nine. I'm not used to powerful bikes considering I came from a very small bike previously on top of me being out of riding for 2 seasons. This bike is a dream machine, she handles nicely and she rides very elegantly.

I would recommend anyone around town who's nearby looking for a bike stop by IndMoto, if not just to look around and speak with the staff. I plan on going back in a few days to catch up with the staff and let them know how I'm adjusting to the bike.

Thank you Justin for the kind words. Doing what I can to get this place back on the map with OR and everyone else in Columbus.

been looking for a good shop in the columbus area, might check this place out... need some work done to the ol' SV and the place I took it last time took forever and was fairly rude (the service department at least).

We recently "cleaned house" and I think you would find your service experience quite different this time around. If not, hit me up. I'll get it handled.

  5. The season is upon us and we are buying everything we can get our hands on. Cruisers, sport, scooter, dirt, whatever. Shoot me a message with what you have and would like to get out of it. Even better for you would be to trade it in towards an upgrade that we might have available. Either way, bring on the bikes!
