I think that we will be taking 2 trailers to be honest.
-
Anyone is welcome to stop by my house whenever on Friday to load up.
Ryan, I guess NonAznTim is having issues with work getting Friday off. If you guys want you can arrange driving down together thats fine.
And I was also planning on driving home Monday evening after Summit. Its only 4 hours and im sure we are going to want to leave a session or so early, 3 days in a row is alot of riding.
-
So we need to figure out some logistics as we leave in a little over a week.
Confirmed from up north we have myself, RHill, TimTheAzn, TimNotAnAzn
Brandon is undecided.
From Washington PA we have Ron, Bill
Undecided Kenny and Musky
Is anyone else thinking of heading out next weekend? I can haul 6 bikes (2 in the truck, 4 in trailer) and 4 people, I know Bills trailer can probably fit everything in his trailer if we moved some stuff around but he has those pit bulls mounted up for 4 bikes.

What was in the pipeline again?
Not 100% sure to be honest. Either an 08+ R6 or possibly a 13+ZX6.
I would probably have a hard time turning down a 675 at the right price either. All depends on whats available when I have the cash.

Replace it with a track addiction.

Not yet, I never made a for sale post or anything just told a couple people about it. I will have a sign on it at PIRC and will make a post next week. The sooner its gone the better.

750Tim is signed up but looking at the forecast he might try to transfer to the NC Bike trip. If he is at PIRC il be there all weekend, if not il make an appearance for awhile each day.
If its dry I might ride one day, but the bike will be sitting there with a for sale sign on it.

Drive separate, skip Monday.
You can swing by my place to pick the bike up later on.

Yesterday was tons of fun. Ran my best time on the third session, no personal best but happy with it for the conditions. I couldnt get over the shade on the last session and putted around.
-
Have fun and be safe today, wish I was there....

that's what happens when you go to dealer sponsored trackdays and ride the latest greatest.....that's why I stuck to the multistrada, monster and Jeff's SV.
Ya you probably had the right idea. The acceleration of that zx10 was crazy...
Might have had a little more fun on the panigale but I dont trust their engines to be beat on at the track.

Unless I come across a newer R1\zx10 over the winter that I can drop the coin on. Then I will just do all track days.
-
I want to run the full wera regional schedule and see how things work out in points.
Will see what the schedule looks like might only get 6 days with n2 this year.

Plan on racing more next year? Or just running with another ORG.
I dont have a problem with N2 so I will be riding with them for track days.
I just want to get more into the racing scene, atleast for one year.

Each winter you can buy 12 days for like 1900 or something.
But if you had purchased it the year before you get a 10% discount so its 1600-1700 for the 12 days plus an elite membership.
I know Ryan has picked up his 12 for next year already. I am not sure what I am going to do as I would like to run as much wera or ccs as I can and that will mean less days.

My time off was approved for this, looks like I should request Friday as well.
Collecting funds currently. Any donations appreciated.
It is about 7.5 hours to NC Bike "atleast from my house" so figure spend the day driving and get there early to set up and have Ron mix us drinks. Then from NC Bike to Summit is 3 hours 45 minutes.
NC Bike is only 150 a day for members and 165 for non members. Summit Main is 175 for members, 195 for non members.

How many days vacation needed for travel?
I am guessing we would leave Friday, be back late Monday night so two days. Of course you could skip Summit and be back real late Sunday night if you wanted to be.
I honestly have no clue who is going to do what for logistics, Brandon isn't sure if he is going or not and Timmy may be coming out of retirement. We will have to see how things go as we get closer to that weekend. I can haul 4 bikes in the trailer and probably can put 2 in the bed of the truck but we would need to take an extra car down.
-
We are planning on going to NC Bike to ride with N2 on the 24th and 25th of Sept. Then on the way back we were going to stop at Summit Main on the Monday for another track day and then head back home that evening.
I know that so far Ron, Ryan and myself are in.
Who else?
I will also add that NC Bike is cheap to ride, $150 for members and $165 for non members.

Looking at how much vacation time I have left I might have to skip. only have 10 days left and I have to save 5 for a family trip. Add in Barber and the NC Bike trip and there isnt much left.

I could try for the 6th.
