Awesome! My parents went to Florida for the weekend, yesterday morning on the flight from Columbus to Charlotte their seats were split up, but my mom ended up chatting with the guy beside her. She text me later and was saying how nice he was and his name was Patrick and he was part owner of a business called PTP Racing. Needless to say I told her I was aware of who he was and I was jealous, lol.

A lot of guys say that about Zinc Yellow, but have never seen it in person. I was the same way to be honest, didn't want another black one or yellow, then saw this one in person and loved it. It seems to look a lot more pale in pictures, kind of a hard color to capture really. Regardless, thanks for the bump.

Did you see the link I posted in your other thread about the T/A? A friend has a 2002 Z28 A4 with around 110k miles that he's asking $6k for. Only mods are an SLP catback, K&N filter, and an SS hood and he also has the stock hood.

Do you realize that all the "ordinary" cars you're trying to avoid are common because they work and are easy to find parts for? If it were a car that you're planning to beat on regularly, I'd want to make sure that parts are readily available and not insanely priced. Being different and unique is cool, but there are major drawbacks to it.

If it's a legit shop, just buy the necessary tools for the job. They'll pay for themselves if you have enough business.

06-up have the upgraded diffs I believe. There have been a few threads on them recently, I'm sure some more helpful comments will follow, as well as ignorant ones.

If the owners are humble enough to admit that they can't get the most out of the car, then I don't see anything wrong with letting a skilled driver take the wheel in competitions or record attempts. If they just flat out never drive it though, I don't see the point in owning/building it. I see absolutely nothing wrong with somebody writing checks and driving a car that they don't do much (if any) work on though. Some people have the financial means, but lack the mechanical skills, knowledge, or time. That's no reason for them to have to sit back and watch everyone else have fun. If I ever hit the lottery I have no doubt I'd have a few cars built for me, they'd get done a hell of a lot quicker and run a lot better I'm sure. Lol

I've got a buddy with a red 93 coupe roller. All the typical rust spots are solid, just has a little bubbling on the lip of the trunk. Engine bay and trunk need help, and it has an Autozone shift knob. Other than that it looks like a fairly nice car. Not $19k nice, but nice.

Here, 2 other local forums, and svtperformance. I'm on a couple other Mustang sites, but don't have enough posts to make a FS thread. I've actually had a lot of interest, it's just all been trades that I didn't want or just weren't feasible. There is some wiggle room on the price for serious cash offers.
