  1. Unless I misunderstood somewhere, he got an $85 fine for not moving into the next lane when passing an officer who was making a stop...IN 2008! I'm sure we've all been aggravated when pulled over for whatever reason, but typically once it's over with and you've calmed down you realize you messed up and you must deal with it. Kasich calling the officer an idiot nearly 3 years later is absurd. Even in 2008 I'm sure he was spending more than $85 on a daily basis trying to live like a bigshot. He could've easily just paid the $85, learned his lesson, and moved on with his life. The fact that he's still hanging on to it and publicly calling the officer who was doing his job an idiot 3 years later shows a lot about his character. Fuck him.
  2. Are you fucking kidding? :gtfo: Kid Rock is quite possibly the biggest poser douche of all time.
  3. LMAO at 3:38 Definitely a cool video, I know I sure as hell couldn't do half of that shit no matter how many tries I was given. Seems like a pretty chill guy.
  4. I'm a Mopar nut and love everything about it, except for the black on the front bumper. If the whole bumper or at least the section between the grille and lower opening was body color then I think it'd look a LOT better. Any Photoshop gurus wanna give that a shot? Make it wingless while you're at it...
  5. Steve's Mystic proves it makes enough power to put a hurtin on a twin screw. Basically just a Steig stage 5 blower with full exhaust, 150 shot, and the fuel to support it = 701/780 on 93 pump. Stock 91k mile longblock. It's the fucking poster child for ported/nitrous Terminators. lol If I keep mine it's getting put on the bottle this year, along with a new tune and drag radials.
  6. I agree with Sturg. The rear just looks way too busy to me. I'd have to debadge everything but the STi and colormatch the silver trim piece above the license plate indention. That combined with the tinted license plate cover you mentioned getting would be complete for me. I'm not digging the exhaust, but I don't think I'd like a single tip on each side any better. Maybe black out the mufflers but leave the tips alone? I hate "dual" exhaust on 4 cylinders, that was one of my biggest gripes about my SRT-4 that I never changed.
  7. Fuck a twin screw, go ported with a bottle. What are you lowered on? If I keep mine I'm going to need to get rid of the 4x4 status this year.
  8. ^ Beat me to it. I agree with Nitrousbird. It's a nice subtle accent that makes a big difference, but there's nothing else to go with it other than the badge.
  9. Be a rebel, rock it naked like me. It's just a phone, it's ok for it to get some wear and tear. Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've had mine since the first couple weeks of release and have never had a case on it and it's been fine. It's definitely been dropped and launched from my lap into parking lots when getting out of the car before, and the only damage is a few barely noticable scrapes on the corner of the metal. I've never had any chips, scratches, or cracks in the glass. I just prefer the feel of it without a cover, it's too uncomfortable and bulky in my pants with one. (lulz) My wife had an Otterbox on hers and over the weekend a piece of the plastic part broke. She was always complaining about the rubber part not fitting tight enough as well, but it seemed fine to me. Not sure what she's going to get to replace it.
  10. How much with the mods? I've got a friend looking for one in this color.
  11. Saw this vid over on another site, I definitely wasn't expecting what happened. If it weren't for the fact that I'd be in a speechless shock like this rider was, I'd go beast mode on that old lady.
  12. 99ta, I recognize you're sig pic from SVTP. I'm good friends with Steve, Frank, Troy, and all them boys. I was out at Steve's Sunday night and he was talking about how good your brother's car ran for having a pulley only. I've got 2 guys wanting to buy my car right now so I'm thinking about using it as my chance to try out a C5 Z06 or at least a heads/cam FRC, but if I hang onto it I'll be adding a bottle, new tune, and drag radials this year to keep up with the twin screws. Finally getting rid of the 4x4 status is in the plans as well.
  13. Back from the dead... Here are a couple pics of my current toy Dirty, first day I put on the new wheels and tires. http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/df3a0107.jpg A little cleaner http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/1cb2c7e7.jpg http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/6a41b765.jpg My beater http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h176/mcwilliams1/cfb0187e.jpg
  14. Hey guys, my name's Alex, and a couple weeks shy of 24 and I'm from Wellston, which is about an hour and fifteen minutes or so south of Columbus in Jackson County. I joined up on here just to basically try to keep up with the scene, especially the drag racing. Because of the distance, I typically go to Kanawha Valley Dragway in WV, but recently there's talk about it not opening back up in 2011 so I may end up at NTR a lot more next year. I'm a Mopar guy at heart but love anything cool so I usually end up at NTR for the Mopar Nats and a couple other events each year. My main toy is a black 2003 Cobra 10th Anniversary coupe with the basic Terminator mods (Ported blower, bolt-ons, etc.). For a daily driver I have a '97 Civic hatch that's currently bone stock, but I may add a few small things for looks and making the daily commute a little nicer. My wife's toy is a 2006 BMW 330xi 6 spd manual and her daily is a '97 Wrangler. Quite a variety, as you can see I'm very open minded when it comes to anything with four wheels and an engine.
