  1. Any of you D bags going to the show?
  2. Even though I suck, IT WAS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!
  3. I'm definitely in along with jbot and trmn8tr, but is it possible to bring two additional guests? If not, not a big deal. Just have a couple non-OR friends who wanted to join.
  4. Also, the Murse is reportedly in as well. This is going to be freakin sweet! Will I get in trouble if I repeatedly stuff people up the inside?! Cause that's what I'm goin for!
  5. Cool, yeah I just found it. Thanks.
  6. Any more info on this anywhere, Rusty?
  7. Yes, they only make you do the first session or two in novice. I actually think I got more clean laps in novice than intermediate. Intermediate was crowded enough, and most guys were just quick enough, to make fighting through the traffic a little more difficult.
  8. Yeah, if you admit to it being your first time there, you're going into novice. Whether you choose to admit it is up to you. It really wasn't as bad as I thought, got to check the track out and ride with an instructor for a while.
  9. Yeah, you should be fine for three days if you have a fairly new front I think. Fronts last a lot longer than people think. Although the track did put noticeably more wear on it then say Nelson or Pitt. I probably would have been fine doing another day on the Pirelli front (which seems to last forever).
  10. One of the WERA guys said he got some video of us. I'm gonna see if he can send it to me.
  11. Welp, just got back from my first trip to Jennings a few days ago. It was a blast, and I really like the track! Like everyone told me, it has really good grip but destroys tires. They will make you start in Novice if you've never been there (no exceptions), which I thought was nuts but ended up being fine. Got to really check out the track at a sloooow pace and then let it rip. Bumped me up during the second session after the instructor and I were out there doing like 26's in Novice. Ended up staying in Intermediate for the rest of both days. Being that I drove down there myself and my tires were going off after the first day, I just wanted to take it somewhat easy and not have any pressure to go fast. I'd probably feel comfortable riding in expert with a fresh set of tires in March. I went down with a set of Pirelli's on the bike that already had two sprints and a mini 20 on them. I think a fresh set would get you two days at Jennings with them starting to go off towards the end of the second day depending on speed. If you're doing all three days you're definitely gonna need a second rear. Rode around with a couple of WERA guys from Columbus and Nolan (there with his dad) from Motoseries. Good times for sure. Looking forward to the March trip!
  12. You're all goin down. John... wtf, man?! We need you back. Also, visited with Mikey, Jen, and their new baby boy Logan today. Happy to say that all are healthy and happy, and Mikey and Jen should be back at the track this season! It's gonna be a good year! And fuck you, Craig.
  13. Yeah, the Honda Spray Cleaner stuff works great to shine up a street bike or a semi-clean track bike, but I needed something strong to take a season's worth of track abuse off of a race bike. This means oil, bugs, rubber, and other crap. I didn't keep up with cleaning it during the season, and that makes it way worse. So I ended up getting a de-greaser called Greased Lightning at Home Depot. Had my bodywork off the bike so I sprayed it down and let it sit for a bit. Then I gave it another quick spray right before I scrubbed it. Then I hosed them down with fresh water. Overall, worked pretty well. Took off just about everything except a few really stubborn spots on the lower. I don't think the de-greaser had any negative affect on the paint, but then again I wasn't too worried about that because my bodywork is probably on its last leg anyway. Lots of crash damage and chips.
  14. I'm gonna stuff you guys so hard next season... both on the track and in the trailer.
  15. ...and I'm going to visit some friends for a few days in Florida afterwards. And fuck you, Craig.
  16. Ryan, as much as I would love you to come, probably not. I'm literally just throwing my bike and all my shit in the back of a single cab truck and just going.
  17. Can you buy the Bikebrite stuff at any local stores?
  18. So I'm making a quick trip to Jennings to ride on Sunday the 29th and Monday the 30th. If any OhioRiders are gonna be there let me know. I'm going solo and it would be cool to pit with/next to somebody I know.
  19. What heavy duty grease cutting stuff do you recommend, Craigypoo?
  20. Wondering if anyone has some good tips or product recommendations for cleaning race bodywork. Mine are a mess from last season with bugs, dirt, and burnt rubber caked to them. I've used wd-40 and the old elbow grease method, but I'm wondering if there's any other tricks I could try. Thanks, gheys... I mean guys!
  21. I'm sure both are great, but I can vouch for DTM Brian. He tuned both my bike and Murse's in the same day and we were both really happy with the performance and the price. Murse's ZX10R got something like 178 hp with an exhaust and PC5! Nuts.
  22. Sweet. Intermediate it is then. I'll probably be slow as hell anyway and holding guys up! Haha
  23. Shit, you guys are freakin me out! I'll probably try to sign up for Intermediate the first day, and see if I can bump up if need be the second day. I always regret signing up for Intermediate at a new track, but you guys are making it sound like that won't be the case here. Also, getting "your doors blown off" a few times is how you get faster!
  24. Alright, I'm going to do two of these days, just not sure which two. Also, what do you guys think, sign up for Intermediate or Advanced? Never been to Jennings before.
  25. Yeah dude, I was gonna come get it maybe Saturday morning? I'll just grab my dad's truck and pick it up.
