I got you, ill be there Saturday morning. Kick stand is fine for novice.
-
I also have an extra set of gloves you can borrow. Full gauntlet and size large.
-
C'mon, Andrew. Pull it together, man.
-
Seriously. This dude doesn't even ever work and he's buyin new exhausts and shit.
-
Cox, I lied. Murse has the drill annd the loading ramp. He lives in Canal Winchester. Thought it would be easier for you to get. Ill set it up today and ill bring it to you if necessary. Logistics got a little crazy this past weekend because I was leaving my truck and bike in Cleveland and I caught a ride back to Cbus with Murse. Also, you are the man. Love you.
-
Fuck. Cox's shit is just spread out all over the place... I have his loading ramp, Jinu has his belt, Murse has his drill, and Craig has his panties that he left at his house.
-
I'm gonna make this work. So yes, Brandon, ill need you to take my bike because I'm in columbus with my car and the bike and truck are in Cleveland. Ill be in Cleveland this weekend so I can bring my crap to you. Ill give you a call and we'll figure it all out. Taft, I would really appreciate a tow or two on Saturday.
-
Craig, thanks. I might take you up on that actually. Taft, I would most definitely appreciate a tow on Saturday. Or a few.

Overall I had a good weekend. It was just nice to be back at the track with all you guys. The bike is at least rideable now, but I just can't get comfortable enough on it to ride at the pace I was last year. Not sure if this is more bike setup problems or just a mental issue. We'll see, I'm just gonna keep riding and tweaking the bike. Congrats to all on a solid weekend. Its all about being with good people participating in the sport we love. And sometimes its a love/hate relationship.

Yeah, your buddy who you sold the rains to crashed because of your shitty product. Hahaha
-
I had a blast riding in the rain today!
-
I did like three 15 minute sessions, dickbag. More than I can say for your sorry non-ridin ass.
-
John just fucking said "ew." Jesus christ you sound like my girlfriend. Also, the bike felt fucking spectacular tonight! So stoked to be back at it!

If the above is true, this is the way mine sits right now: 7mm of additional fork showing over the triple (means front end should be sitting 3mm higher than stock). 10mm of ride height added to rear shock (means rear of bike should be sitting 10mm higher than stock). So basically I'v added 7mm of ass end height over what was the stock geometry. I hope this is close.
-
Craig, you have your stock 08 forks around still right? Can you measure them for me and get me an overall length? I'm guessing the cartridges in mine added about 10mm but I'm not positive.
-
This is relevant to my interests. I just pulled out the 8 mm spacer on my shock mount and instead added about the same with the ride height adjustment on the shock. Can you elaborate on this Craigypoo?
-
Probably doin the two 600 sprints.
-
I bought the forks like that used. Theyre cartridges done by Superbike Suspension. But who knows what the guy who owned them before me did with them.
-
Pretty much this. (You fuckhead)

Alright, suckas! Got my forks back from Reuben and put them on the bike last night. Let me just say, just from compressing them and riding the bike around a parking lot and breaking really hard, they feel absolutely amazing compared to what they felt like before. Reuben said that he actually couldn't find anything really major wrong with them internally, but the caps that go over the springs inside were put on upside down. I think that was preventing the preload from being adjusted correctly, which is why the just always felt like they were under max preload and super stiff (Like John seeing all the guys at the track). He fixed that and refreshed them all around. Going to pull the shock off tonight and mess with it a little just to make sure everything is good to go. I am super freakin pumped to go racing this weekend and hope that I can actually get my season started finally! (I'm also looking forward to breaking in Marty's new trailer if you know what I mean)

Murse and I will be there all day Sunday.

2013 Moto Series Round 3 At Pirc/beaver June 29-30th
Hollywood33 replied to jbot's topic in Track is Crack
Well, Murse and I actually straightened out the rearset today, so that's good to go. Just waiting on a radiator and brake lever to arrive. And then I'm gonna drop the front end and soften up the suspension a little. Should be ready for the Beav.- 194 replies

Solid write up, love the detail of what it feels like to grid up for an AMA race. Thanks for keeping us updated!
