I put Moto-Elite folding bar end mirrors on my gsxr and don't think I'd go back to the stock mirrors. It does take some getting used to as Gump said but it becomes natural quickly. They may suck but they're better than the Vee Edge Rubber tires the previous owner put on my gsxr. As others have said I don't understand skimping out on a good set of tires.
