  1. I do not believe it had a cat on it. With the waste from burning diesel the particulate matter would clog a cat. I do know it probably had a resonator on it before the muffler which some think is a cat. The ford dealer will be able to confirm or deny. I'm a Cummins guy and they didn't start with a catalyst til 07 with the dpf filter

  2. i would not jump to a liter bike.i would get a new zx6r. the amount of power going from an older carbed to a fine tuned FI'd, will be sufficient. you have to think about the 16 year generation gap you have going on. 600cc bikes tend to make a bunch more power now then they did then.

    and im not hoting on liter bikes, i also ride a 00 zx6r and very very much so desire a 2013 zx10r

    Is your 00 faired or street fighter

  3. Um 7.3 and 6.0 powerstroke are international. Also ford puts the 5.9 in their 650 and 750 trucks must be good enough for their big trucks. Ford owns the rights to Cummins yes but have made a lot of money off the Cummins and international gave them a hell of a deal on motors which the sold the Cummins for more per engine than what they paid for the international so they made out like bandits. Everyone from where I'm from has Cummins or duramaxs. I have 2 5.9s and have had no problems with them even after I've modded them
