  1. I don't mean to shitpost or derail the thread, but I have a 1994 CBR 900 as well, and I can only get it up in first gear (power wheelie or clutch up) also, when I try to wind it out on the highway I've used a GPS on my phone and it doesn't go past 127mph... it was sitting for 2 years before I bought it and has an oil leak-- P.S. I've been thinking about making it into a streetfighter
  2. I'm not sure if its me but does the original thread still exist? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
  3. That's one beautiful bike. How would the power compare to a 1994 CBR 900rr (that has lost compression)? I bought the 900 off a buddy for a steal and want to sell it for something fuel injected. Been stuck in the 90's era so far. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
  4. this video is just scaring the shit out of me... I just have to remember when I get this cbr 900 to not treat it like my katana-- I've witnessed a few wrecks with my buddies and it was either cornering too fast for their/bikes abilities, or not paying attention (gravel/rocks on the road). either way I'm a bit scared to ride after watching some of this
  5. That's a gorgeous color scheme!
  6. Howdy, is your ZX6r gone already?

  7. Howdy, how's that '03 CBR? looking for an upgrade here, myself and was wondering if you still had it!

  8. this happened on the highway today I just cleaned and lubed it 3 days ago too! unfortunately it was my fault still, the chain had about 2 1/2 inches of slack and I hit a rather large bump while accelerating and it just snapped right off and broke (onto my leg) thankfully I didn't fall and get ran over by 10 cars though! Edit: Also, anyone know a good online store that's reputable for purchasing parts online? would this be fine? http://www.bikebandit.com/rk-vortex-motorcycle-chain-sprocket-kit?m=147826
  9. It definitely had work put into it, it sounded like he put at least a few grand into it! And a couple days ago, a cop caught me speeding but he just pulled up next to me and gave me a thumbs up and told me to slow it down.... first nice cop I've ever gotten while in Parma!
  10. Believe me I've thought about it hahaha, but I'll pass on giving that one a try... at least for a while! Does everyone who first starts riding motorcycles have a lot of confidence with their riding abilities? I've been golden up to this point, it's kind of windy today and I noticed it affects me a lot different than a car (go figure ) taking my skills test this thursday so I'll be able to ride at night time! Also, I have a jacket that the guy gave to me when I bought the bike but it seems like a winter jacket. If I do take a spill though, definitely gonna have some terrible road rash and a huge blow to the confidence.... today, I popped my first wheelie by accident! The wheel only got like maybe 10 inches off the ground, but it was a surprise because I thought the bike was too heavy to wheelie. It was while racing a mustang (which kept up with me surprisingly) and I'm sure you guys don't wanna hear about a 'newbie' racing
  11. haha I mean, it DOES have two wheels.. and it also goes fast! I guess that's all it takes to satisfy me right now
  12. Hey all! Just bought my first motorcycle today, 95 suzuki katana. Should be pretttttty fun, no pun intended lol. I live in a suburb of cleveland so if anyone's nearby and would want to go for a ride, let me know! wouldn't mind making some friends who ride as well. gotta get my license before I can hit the highway though haha
