  1. From everything I have read, your symptoms are the same as what I have experienced with my past motorcycles = bad gas.

You may have run it a week ago, just enough to suck some bad gas in. Anyway, my guess is that you are going to have to take it in or find someone to clean our your fuel system.

Bike would start but die on rev. Take it in, get it serviced and you will be good to go.

draining all gas tomorrow and pulling the carbs for cleaning and filling back up with some 87 from BP not sure I trust Speedway now though it may be my fault for using high octane.

  2. I would go buy a siphon or use a hose and get the tank as empty as possible and put in some fresh 87

Well for now I am done until tomorrow it's still revving up to 4.5k rpm and then dies. I really do not want to take the whole bike apart to get to the carbs seeong as how I do not have the place to work on it other than outside.

  3. Choke pulls fuel through a different hole than the idle circuit or the other circuit. . Betting its got a tiny piece if crap stuck in a jet. If this is a carbed model.

    Sadly this is the carbureted.

  4. It really needs to be circulated throughout the fuel system, if you can get it to fire a few times to draw some into the carbs it might do more for the problem

yeah I put some in the tank and ran it for 5 minutes should be plenty in the system.

  5. Since its stalling immediately with the choke on and wont fire without the choke, I'm assuming it's starving for fuel so there's probably some gel in the carbs. You've been storing it outside since you got it back right? I'm with the SeaFoam idea, and it wouldn't hurt to keep some in each tank full for a while.

yup Seafoam is in the tank now, hope it setting over night breaks up any gunk. Going to start it up in the morning and see what happens.

  6. Okay so bike is running now after seafoam but is cutting out now at 3k. Going to do another treatment tomorrow since I am running out of daylight. As for gas I go to speedway and get premium.

  7. Will it run longer when you start it up if you let it sit for longer between each attempt to start?

    For example...

Let the bike sit for 5 minutes, start it - How long does it run without throttle?

Let the bike sit for 1 minute, start it - How long does it run without throttle?

Let the bike sit for 2 seconds, start it - How long does it run without throttle?

Let the bike sit for 10 seconds, start it - How long does it run without throttle?

What happens it you start it at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full throttle? Make sure it is not in gear and is in neutral! ;)

Doesn't matter how long it sets symptoms still the same.
