I have a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier Z24. The theft system has been acting up lately. The car had a remote start in it when I bought it 7 yrs ago. I removed it almost as soon as I bought it. I had repaired the wiring with crimp connectors. This last weekend I tore it all apart and soldered it all together instead of crimp connects. While I was in their I measured the resistance from the black wire to the yellow wire in the column. It measured 765 ohms. The closest I had was an 820 ohm. This was within the +/- 10% spec that I had read online. I put this in and the car wouldn't start. So I put the car back to stock. Car started fine 5-10 times. Girlfriend drove it to work this morning no problem. She went to leave work for the doctor and it took 4 or 5 tries before the system would shut off and allow the car to run. Do I need to get a a closer resistor? Is there another way to bypass this system?

I so need to move to AZ:
As of 9/15/10 - Arizona listing updated to show you no longer need a permit/license to carry there. Anyone 21 Years or older that can legally posses a firearm can carry and conceal it.
This is often referred to as Vermont Carry as this is where it started. I know Alaska is the same way also.

Personally, I would replace them. Unless I can cut the drums myself, I don't even bother. To many times I have got them back with only a fast cut or a crappy cut. If you get just a fast cut the drum is actually threaded to the point that it will grab the shoes and pull them away from the backing plate. When the hold down springs over come the threads the shoes slam back against the backing plate. The result is BANG BANG BANG as you stop. The other benefit to new drums is they are thicker. They can dissipate more heat and wont get out of round as quickly. IF there is enough material to turn it and IF you get a good cut, you might get lucky and have no problems.

Have you looked at the 887?

I know a couple guys with farms and they have plenty of cats and kittens to choose from. I am sure if you get a kitten they wouldn't have bad habits yet and they could be litter trained.

I have a fairly progressive opinion and that's to legalize drugs in the US. Some may disagree, but ironically, those folks and me agree that the "use of drugs" is bad. The reason I want to legalize it is to gain control and power without violence.
By legalizing all the hard drugs coming in from Mexico, we control the product thus the costs, thus ruling out their profits. Drug Cartels can't do shit without revenue. Selling drugs does no good when there are no customers and customers have no need to buy illegally.
Not only would we then control revenue, but quality and safety of the product and we would also know who is using. Nothing is 100%, but believe, me, if 10,000 people in Columbus are buying drugs today, if 7,000 of them are doing so under watch, at least we then would know who is using, what they are using, how much and what quality products are being used. The other 3,000 will always exist.
Keeping it illegal isn't stopping the situation and making it legal isn't necessarily going to increase drug usage or even experimentation. Hell, look at cigarettes. Kids will try them legally or illegally. So if you can't entirely control their actions, how about at least containing and monitoring them.
Key isn't force. Working hard at anything isn't worth shit. People in life are paid to work smart and get results. Hard work and efforts are what politicians run for office on. Results are what keep them in office. I say, let's go for the money, control and do it in a smarter way. It's very evident that what we've been doing for years isn't working and the price to do so is very high. To win the game you have to change the rules. It's time we change the rules and steer the game in our favor. Wars don't always have to start with weapons.

aaaah come on! Well, good thing I got Medal of Honor last night to keep me busy until Black Ops comes out.
I already paid $100 for the special edition GT5 to have it on pre-order...this game better give out BJ's by the time it's released.
I did the same thing. I wonder if this holiday season means christmas or some obscure foreign holiday that only occurs once every 10 years.

Putty, what's bad about TimeWarner's RoadRunner? I Don't care about TV, just Internet.
I have TWC for internet only. I am not impressed with the speed of my service at all. The added bonus is every year I get an additional $10/month added to my bill as a loyalty bonus. What started out as $19.99 is now $49.99.

Not trying to take anything away from the amazing things you have done with your car but I was curious how your car compares.
A/C?
Weight?
DR or slicks?

What about the fuel rail? does it go from the back to to the front? if so a pinched or clogged line would restrict the fuel to the rear bank and leaning out the front bank?

Don't know, but I always thought in a situation that's likely hostile or known to be hostile, the medics usually wait for police to secure the scene before they begin to help anyone. I know I wouldn't fucking be trying to save the life of someone who has been shot unless there was a LEO there to insure the bad guys weren't ready to take me out too.
This works fine and dandy for the known bad situations. CCW in my opinion is for the unknown. If you knew what was going to happen everywhere you went why would you ever need a CCW or a gun in general. There are to many unknowns in daily life let alone when you are responding to medical emergencies. Very easy for a unknown subject down to be the result of a gang beating, domestic violence or drug deal gone bad.
